there's still time, but it will be tough to move the needle in 41 days.
the only hope for romney are the debates.
otherwise, obama set up a narrative for romney which romney just reinforced with his 47% video. there is no overcoming that narrative. he has to drop some kind of bomb in the debates.
if nothing changes next friday, it's over.

we'll see what happens in the first debate. i am still giving romney the benefit of the doubt, but my suspicion is that obama will destroy him face to face. very politely though.

Romney is the worst choice they could have put up, Ron Paul obviously would have been the best.
But ever as much as I didn't like them, Herman Cain or Rick Perry would have been a much easier sell, how are you going to push Romney?

Gallup polls on October 26th in 1980, two weeks before the election, Gallup had it Jimmy Carter 47, Ronald Reagan 39. That election two weeks later ended up in a landslide that was so big that Carter conceded before California closed. The New York Times verified this poll,right, because obama is the one who is nearly double digits behind in every swing state with only 6 weeks to go
