I would love to see universal healthcare in the U.S. as well lol.. Matter of fact, I wrote my local congressman and voiced my opinion on that subject.. There are jsut way too many ppl in the U.S. that cannot afford basic and/or NEEDED healthcare.. It works great for other countries ( CAN/UK etc ).

according to the CDC, show that cops are much more careless than gun guys. That's just stats. I'm only reporting that which is recorded.

I was with you at first.. But now your sounding like one of those "extremists" ( that scare the shit outta me ) that are stockpiling guns waiting for the "armageddon" lol..

In Australia there were so many cop guns getting stolen or misplaced the government banned .40 cal ammo, doesn't really stop reloaders though. Gov issued Glocks are also fairly easy to come by here too.

Yes mate but the world isn't full of pretty people and rainbows. The reality is there are fucking evil people and hatred everywhere. Unfortunately this isn't a utopia.

I know that lol.. But the human race will never achieve its full potential until we ALL come together as ONE.. that means no more hoarding money, keeping up w/ the jonses, hating one another because the color of our skin or our releguios beliefs etc etc.. If all humans were to come together and work together this world would be a type of utopia and there is no limit to what we could achieve. But its not gonna happen until something very bad and drastic happens.. Like say maybe a nuclear holocost or something..

I like how people have wrote"guns in the hands of criminals". I have to assume some of us are breaking the law by growing weed. Not all of the people in here depending on where your from(I dont know every country's laws). But here in the US if you grow weed you are a criminal unless you work in the lab at University of Miss. Medical marijuana growers too. Federal law superceeds local law. So how can people in here say stuff such as "gun laws only keep guns in the hands of criminals". Im not anti gun at all I own a few but I also dont say shit like that.

Well I was against you at first (no I didn't -rep I'm not lame.)

Logic is logic.

Am I waiting for Armageddon? In a way yes. With the plethora of unjust laws that exist I don't think that any politician could ever undo 70+ years of restrictive laws. Prohibition of alcohol for example, was not repealed for any reason other than to prevent an armed revolution against the government. Too many people enjoyed drinking and too many suppliers were willing to kill anyone who stood in their way. It was a revolution against an oppressive law.

Do I think that there's a chance that there will be another revolution in the near future? Yes. Do I want there to be blood shed to free us? No. If it happens though I sure as hell won't be one of the slaughtered, if I go down I'll take some oppressors with me.

Am I am extremist? If by extremist you mean someone who believes in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, then absolutely. I support your right to disagree with me fervently. I also support your right to grow weed, smoke weed, and be whoever you wish to be. What I won't support is 'protection of the people' legislation. Most the time when legislation is billed as 'protection for the people' it is more 'profit's for the government.' That's how marijuana prohibition started. George Washington not only supported Hemp production, he actually had a Hemp farm. (little known fact)

It wasn't until the cotton industry whined about a superior product kicking their a$$ that marijuana prohibition started. Then it took on a racist form with 'reefer madness' and it was eventually stamped out as a whole because hemp could out do cotton, and weed would sell better than alcohol. (It's safer, less addictive, and generally better than booze.) That however didn't work for Busch and Jack Daniels post repeal of prohibition so marijuana laws were tightened and 'billed' as 'protecting of the people.'

Gun laws are billed as 'protection for the people' but the reality is that gun laws are protection from the people for the government. They know that they have over stepped their bounds in what they can and can't tell us to do, and to keep us submissive they over tax us, educate us poorly, and continually try to disarm us.

George Washington stated during the Constitutional Convention, "For a people to become submissive the government must control the peoples money and the peoples arms. We must never let that happen."

Thomas Jefferson stated, "For the Citizens of the United States to remain free there should be a revolution every 20 years."

It may shock you but I'm a pacifist who hasn't committed an act of violence in 18 years, and that singular act of violence was in defense of my family.
I firmly believe that it's my duty to protect my family. Yes I'm well trained in weapons handling. I'm also well trained in Zen Buddhism and Tai Chi.

I observe and evaluate. True to my mid-western upbringing I 'hope for the best but prepare for the worse.'

....

Even a nuclear holocaust wont bring on a "Utopian society" There will always be greed, hatred, and people who seek power in this world. Its a double sided knife because some of these traits create great leaders and innovators and those are the people who change the world.

The world isnt perfect, and neither are the people who inhabit it. All we can do is try out best and be grateful for what we have.

i think the world is perfect.....it has balance and harmony...you need the left to have the right..you need up to have down...if ther were no balance, no ebb and flow, ying and yang good and evil then there would be nothing...without a balance there is more cause than effect..more input than output more take than give...we all need our exact opposites to counter balance our lives ideals and force.....

I can guarantee that no gun owner in existence has never committed a crime. Yes gun legislation only creates more criminals. (No I don't grow BTW and that's not BS.) But I can without a doubt say that every gun owner out there is a criminal according to our government. Federal Seat Belt laws come to mind as does violating the speed limit. I would venture to say that almost the entire population of the US has committed a crime at some point. It pretty much impossible to NOT commit a crime and live in the US. I drive 5 over sometimes as much as 20 over (felony in some states.) I smoke weed, illegal in most states.

I believe in natural law not mans law. I do as I wish and do what I can to hurt no one directly or indirectly. If I'm forced to hurt someone to defend myself, so be it but I won't be happy about it. If I get busted for having a small amount of pot on me, so be it. I'll fight in court with a good lawyer.
I'm not christian or even close to it, but I do think the 'quote' from Jesus where he says, 'He who hath not sinned cast thy first stone' is very applicable in this case. There's no such think as an American who's never committed a crime.
