final weight was 1 lb. and just over 100 g. from 2 tables, so almost 10 oz. from each table.

I see you're putting your cuttings in rockwool; i've heard that's not very effective. what kind of results have you had? would it be a good idea to establish roots using neoprene disks and later transplant them into rock-filled cups? or do you just put your cuttings directly into rockwool and then in the cups? I'm trying to find the best setup possible, it seems that the plants couldn't get very big using your aeroponics system, but maybe they don't need to be very big? i was thinking of having the mothers under a 600W MH, in soil with drip irrigation, then putting cuttings in a homemade areoponic tub with neoprene disks under 200W fluorecent, then 3 weeks later, after they had roots, transplanting them to a flow 'n grow system, which has 2 reservoirs with pumps and individual buckets filled with rock connected to the reservoirs, all under 2 1000W lights... what do you think?? am i over doing it?

I hate to say it, but you may have been mislead about rockwool. I have never heard anything negative about it. I have tried pretty much everything, and everything I've ever put in rockwool has rooted (only one slab, though).

would it be a good idea to establish roots using neoprene disks and later transplant them into rock-filled cups?
it's a matter of choice. i considered all that first and decided that this route worked for all that i was attempting.

or do you just put your cuttings directly into rockwool and then in the cups?
i cut clones, dip into clonex, stick 'em into ph'ed rockwool cubes, toss 'em into pots and cover with hydroton rocks. all 64 rooted plus all the extras i cut for back up. ;-)

as you can see, they got TOO big to be productive. you need to be in absolute control of this joint to be effective. i was definitely going for small. i know a sativa is anti-productive, but i thought it would be a better yield than the purple kush i have (all i have for now).

i am not familiar with the flow n grow (off hand), and you didn't mention the number of sites, but everything sounds cool. one of those 1000's will cover a six by six area great. it can cover 8 by 8 but the outers will suffer. i would like to see this grow (two tables - less than 4 by 4) under a 1000. :peace:

kerdiggz...

are you using this exact rubbermaid? if so just flip the lid upside down... you lose about 3-4" of interior height but you get zero leaks without doing a damn thing to the lid... works wonders.
Yes I have the exact same tub from home depot... & thats a great idea! i'm going to give that a try, thanks.
