2400$ at this price i would rather have 5 area51 190watts ... WAY BETTER COVERAGE and also more wattage of LEDs for the same price. 2400$ is quite pricey for a light drawing 750watts... there is way more technology into a microwave lol i dont understand how they can be so expensive!!

Finally. I have been waiting quietly for that to be dropped. They should have done 36" since it has all 14*...but still a great test/video.

To each their own. Truly made in america(not just thought of), cost money, as well as THE top of the line components they use, and they are the only UL led grow light in the world. The XGS and the at200 are near identical...3 would not do what this does.
I have nothing to say about price...that is their thing/problem. The results are what matter to me and the people buying them. And the results are there. Apache isn't coming after small growers, the people/companies that buys their lights have big budgets and see cost in the long run. No big legitimate operation is going to put 100+ non-UL lights in a facility.

Anyone else notice they changed the height on the last measurement to 30", but did not adjust the numbers? I like Andre stepped up and asked for measurements at 36", G, you have proven that is the area to be in with these lights, looks fannnntastic brother

Too risky...specially when it's your own equity. I sacked up and went cree globes all through out my house, different wattages and CRI for different rooms.
I have enough to grow a good amount of ranks if I ever wanted to try it out...haha

The light nate/growershouse has is the actual one that UL approved. They sent it back and it went to nate. It's crazy that Apache is the only one UL certified. Makes a big difference to the new legal market.

I showed him the test and we were talking about it. I clarified some things in my video, but glad he put something out there too.

32"-36" is the sweet spot. And with all 14's, 36" is golden since it holds the focus so long/far and will allow more spread.

We meet nate at the max yield, and I was using his 1000w test to show people numbers. He's a cool dude and smart business man. They are in AZ...middle of CA and CO distribution wise...but no sales tax to either.

Yes they are and a big reason for their adoption by facilities. But they are not an LED, and are so close to floro, you can see why/how they would get it.
But I wonder if the pontoon is UL?

EDIT: the sticker on my pontoon says it is

Inda-Gro has two UL listings on the Pontoons which are in addition to the power supplies UL listing under file no; FNFT2.E354510 and the CUL FNFT8.E354510

Considering how every time there is an electrical fire in a garden they blame illegal wiring, etc., not having UL is adding fuel to the media flames. However I can't install anything on this Canadian project unless it's CUL approved. UL wasn't enough. Then the inspector I was talking to told me that Canadian homeowners policies will not pay for fire damage if it is ruled the fire was caused by a non CUL listed device. Period. Trying to SELL anything that is non CUL rated comes with a $50K fine to the mfg and to the retailer that sold it. I guess UL wasn't enough for these folks they needed a CUL and from what I've already seen they take this shit very seriously.

Curious if the US homeowner policies use the same language to exclude coverage for non UL listed devices that would have caused a fire....

I don't know about fines. If a fire is caused by a non UL listed device , insurance usually will not cover any damage costs. I want to get 2 more a51's but now. I'm contemplating it. I didn't realize they are not UL approved. 2 at200's sound nice but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

oh yeah the inspectors in Canada actually check the CUL file numbers to see that they match. At least this one did. It seems they are following the book on the new commercial cultivation licenses. My guess is they get a piece of the $50K.

Shit I've seen every south park ep. Even the ones at the sick and twisted animation festivals before south park was on tv. Its a required prerequisite for intelligent stoners and growers. Me n a former girlfriend used to watch it religiously. They make a political and / or sociological statement underlining the storyline every ep. The writers are actually quite brilliant.

I'm not stoned. Haven't smoked yet today. Those writers / creators won Tony awards for their Broadway show. Book of morman
they perform in it too. I've seen clips of it and it's pretty funny. Intelligent humor also.

They never really hit my radar but I checked out the reviews on Book of Mormon and it looks like a hell of a show. Another add to the bucket list.

Just got back from seeing Sole Survivor. You know its a good movie when the audience is clapping at the end! It makes you wonder if we have policies and the commitment to see it through that will ever stabilize that portion of the world. Try as we might our guys fight with one hand tied behind their backs and seeing what we're fighting for over there it's no wonder the Afghani perfected hash.
