I'm having a good evening here in Larry Land. It's moonie, 51F with 89% humidity. It was a mild day with the high being 72F. Forecast low of 51F with a 10% chance of rain tonight. Looks like several sunny days coming down the pike.

It's rare, but I have work work to do tonight. I'd better get to it.

Be safe my friend.
Anytime I find myself on the wrong end of a broom, I have a thorough safety meeting first. I was late getting done though. It was about 0300 when I made it home. Sleeping in, shopping and lunch in town with the wife and a nap afterward makes for a short Sunday.

It's sunny, 67F with 55% humidity at 1630. We had a high of 72F earlier and the low tonight is forecast for 44F. Nice fall day.

Good evening. It's overcast, 57F with 74% humidity at 2000. The high was 75F this afternoon, and the low is forecast to be 49F with 10% chance of rain tonight.

Looks like I am soon going to be an orphan at 55 years old. Mamma had a stroke yesterday and has progressively gotten worse since. We have called in Hospice and they have her over in the local hospital now. This is uncharted waters for me. Not sure how much I will be RUIing in the days to come.

I'm so sorry to hear it. Go spend time with her.

Good afternoon guys. It's a brisk, sunny day here. It's 61F with 22% humidity at 1340. Forecast high of 62F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 33F tonight. Burrrrrrr. Light frost again this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be heavier. Only have 3 of the full season's left in the woods. Should bring out the color on them.

Mamma is a tough old coot. After not being able to walk or talk on Tuesday, she was up walking and talking the next morning. Although the shit she was talking was crazy. Looks like she will be coming home this week. She is going to require 24 hour care, and there is only me and Sister to do the bulk of it. We are looking for someone we trust to sit with her. The search isn't going well so far.

Thanks for the good thoughts.

I wish you the best of luck with finding good care givers. We had a tough time with my grandmother.

We had snow a few days ago, dropped an inch or two. Today hit maybe 48, it's been freezing every night.

My dual circuit chiller is doing a great job of pulling the heat from my lights and sending it back to heat the house. I was initially concerned about low temperatures but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Thanks. We have a few more leads, but it is hard to find good people who you can trust. We do have a family friend who doesn't have a full time job due to anxiety issues. He is 25 or so and strong as a horse. I have hired him to do work around the farm. He could do real work while he was there.

I like the idea of your chiller using unwanted heat elsewhere. Kind of like the brakes on a Prius.

Yes, exactly like that. The chiller will pay for itself in less than 5 years just in savings on wintertime heat bills alone, to say nothing of its efficiency at removing heat from warm spaces- to include my home next summer!

Yikes. I had a little frost this morning too. About what is on one of those pieces of wood spread over 40 acres. It was enough to kill flowers and other tender vegetation though. Also added a little color to my plants still out.

It got down to 32F inside my shelter this morning. {the low in town was 32F and it usually get 2-3 degrees colder at the farm} The high today was 69F with lots of sunshine. It's 52F with 40% humidity at 1815. Forecast low of 35F with no chance of rain tonight.

I did a three mile hike to test some of my cold weather gear this morning as soon as it got light. {right after I had taken down the CPDA in the ALe patch} It was pretty nippy. I found out my shoes are better in warm weather. But I got warm within the first 20 minutes, so that is about the right amount of layers.
