I frequent a good morning/weather thread on another site, and thought it would be a good idea here as well. Stop in and say hello.

I use wunderground for Marianna Fl, a nearby town. https://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=pws:KFLMARIA7

Good Afternoon, 1215, sunny, 91F {HI of 102} with 58% humidity. Forecast high of 89F with 20% chance of rain today, and a low of 72F tonight. A great day to be indoors.

I'm just sitting around my office here at the salt mine waiting for my customers to show up. I smoked a couple of bowls earlier, so it makes the waiting easier.

You guys have a good one,

    Larry

Weather underground just recently updated their site. Lots of good features. I like the one that tells me tomorrow will be 1 minute 12 seconds shorter than today. I love summer, but won't complain when the nights get longer.

The real summer heat doesn't start here until the rains of dog days are over, and it last almost to the end of September. The rain or lack of it during dog days can make or break my grow. I need a couple of inches a week to keep up. So far I've been getting that and a little extra.

Dig this! Thank you, I haven't visited wunderground since I lived in Florida a dozen years ago. Four hurricanes while I was down there that summer might have had something to do with it...

You're right about the animals... I stayed away because of the people.

It scares me when we go this long without them. There are so many new people who live here who have never gone through one. They are just as likely to jam up the roads evacuating for a weak storm as staying through a strong one.

I've been lucky so far. We have lost tons of trees, but no damage to houses or buildings. But I'm an hour from the Gulf. Storm surge is the big killer, and I'm too far away to worry about that.

Good Morning. 0925, sunny, 82F with 85% humidity. Forecast high of 93F with 20% chance of thunderstorms today, and a low of 73F tonight.

I had another late night and early morning combo. For a short while this morning, as John Prine would say, I found myself on the wrong end of a broom. But all that unpleasantness is finished, and I'm getting ready to eat breakfast.

For those of you who haven't had that first cup of coffee, here is a little pick me up.

Hope you guys have a good day.

Rebuilding my grow space this week. I'm stoked!

Good Evening. 1905, sunny, 83F with 76% humidity. Our high today was 94F and the forecast low is 73F with 20% chance of rain tonight. We had a pretty good thundershower here at work, but when I called the wife, she said it had only sprinkled at the house. Such is the life of a farmer. Tomorrow we have a better chance. I carried water today. Hope not to tomorrow.

Here is some advice for you guys who are thinking about getting a "snack" away from home.
