I may want to play too, except that I do not have a weenie to measure, but I would consider competing against other growers.

500 or less sounds good. I would recommend each contestant to provide three of their strains and one other MJ type product i.e. oil, hash, edibles, etc. Then it could really show who could be considered the best provider of medical mj.

Or is this contest only for the men?

Keep the entry fee low like around $200. Then a lot more will be able to enter. That would work out real good for the judges too, all the more different tests to conduct.

Wow, you sure are modest.Lmao. I think a contest like this could go any which way.

Not trying to be overconfident...... Not trying to sell myself short either! And I would love to have a little competition, push everyone a little to do better! Plus its fun to rile everyone! I guess a lot of judging is preference based so yeah it could go any way. I'm just saying that I think I have a pretty fair chance at competing against anything I've seen here in Michigan so far. I'd be more than happy to try! I'd even offer a ride if you wanted to compete too!

I don't understand how judging works, if I wanted to test 8 samples it would take a minimum of 19 hours to be accurate.

Are you guys/gals planning on all doing this with cuts from the same plant? That would be how you'd determine the best grower/growing style.

Otherwise you're just having a competition to see who has the best genetics at the moment.

True ...but that is not really feasible

It would be kinda fun though. Everyone picks up their cut(s) on the same day. A person NOT involved in the competition (maybe a judge) provides the cut, and you do not find out what strain it is until the day you pick it up. You have to research the genetics, put it in to your medium of choice, and grow it out and trouble-shoot along the way using your skills and experience to guide you.

Most anyone can grow some killer bud if you have an unreal pheno that you have dialed in from years of working with it.
