well that differs on your soil mix. just water till a little bit starts coming out of your pots. if your starting plants in the pots you plan on finishing them in you might want to just water a couple cups around the plant for the first few weeks so the soil dont get too soaked and take for ever to dry up.

Ok so i should only water until i see water coming out of the pot, will this be ok for germinating the seeds in the soil as well? Also, how effective are ladybugs for pest controll outdoors? I imagine ill have plenty of pest problems here.

well if your germinating in the soil then you want to keep the soil pretty moist but once it pops just water it a little bit around the sprout for the first week or two. lady bugs work well but will probably all fly away outdoors lol. blend up some habanero peppers, mix it with water, and SIMMER NOT BOIL this mix for about 20 mins. filter through a coffee filter and spray that on your plants. all natural and nothing is going to want to eat your plants with that on them lol. thats all i use for pesticides and only when i find bugs on my plants. wont hurt your plants to use it as a preventive either if you want. you can use it about once a week.

neem oil is also a good organic pesticide it also provides the plant with Azadirachtin, the most well known and studied triterpenoid in neem oil. The azadirachtin content of neem oil varies from 300ppm to over 2500ppm. It has many anti fungal properties and keeps your garden nice and lush. Lady bugs work good for spider mites if they have already moved in. i would say neem oil is always almost essential out doors in fl.
As far as germinating seeds you should look into rockwool or jiffy pellets. I start my seeds in rockwool just because it retains moisture So well can always start under humidity domes. great for cuttings. You have to remeber Not to overthink it. Cannabis seeds only need humidity, moisture and a little constant light 18/6 . They have everything they need inside of them to grow the first week of there life. Hope i could help sebe4848

I dont know. But if anyone knows anybody in south florida that professionaly blows :oglass :razz:i have a whole buisness outline on an idea for bad ass bongS. if i had the
time money and talent to create thiz bong it would be a crazy. Im sure im not the only stoner on here that haz a crazy idea for a bong!bongsmilie

On another note. I think all Florida growers need to unite and educate each other about growing in this great state of ours. A lot of times in florida New growers don't even know the genetics of there seeds. I think if we create sometype of co-allition or underground Florida growers. Haaaaa UFG underground fl growers. I'm starting it right now! but i need other more knowledgeable growers. I want to keep this thread alive and create new ones all based on Florida grows. With the help from growers who started this thread (dr.love i think right) other states like cali, colorado and other growing friendly states we can reallY Do something good for growers, patients, and connasouirs in florida. they have more resources then we do. So this is a call to all florida growers Lets start UFG right here on RIU!
I need you guys/gals UnitedFloridaGrowers.. or UndergroundFloridaGrowers. Which one has a better ring. This is something ive been thinking of for a long time but its just an idea. We can make it real!:bigjoint:

I know your doing a pretty good job of it. And i just realized i called you dr. Love. Lol sorry. Drolove way cooler handle. But yea keep this going. I want to know if anyone has any experience with autos outdoors in fl. Seems like a lot of people have conflicting ideas about this and if it's even worth it I personally have never grown auto's so any information about them would help from new members and old

I also have been trying to understand about auto’s , I personally have never grown a MM plant ( hopefully that will change soon ) what is it about the autos that you don’t care for ?

they are a small, low yielding, less potent variety of marijuana. the only "upside" is they finish faster than a normal photo period plant. BUT you can get damn near the same results with any photo period plant if you start it under the 12/12 flowering light cycle. it'll grow for about a month then start flowering on its own. ide much rather do a 12/12 from seed grow than grow a auto. you have much much more to choose from and much better strains to run in general.

The reason there lower potency is becaus. Are crossed with ruddrellis. Which makes for a little bit harsher taste. Since theres no photoperiod there's less yield because there is little to no veg time. @drolove what training techqnique have you found to be most productive when you do a 12/12 run.

i havent done a ton of 12/12 FS grows but some LST always helps. you dont want to do any sort of training that involves stress or you'll stunt the plants in their veg cycle which is already extremely short. no topping or anything like that. i usually just tie the branches down so the whole plant gets plenty of light.
