Carrying on the tradition of past forums I would like to start a Florida Growers Thread.

Welcome to the South on RIU!, at least where I'm from down here doesn't even seem like we are part of the same country. Got to love the weather I've heard it's perfect for Outdoor growers but I have never tried. I love the beach although I rarely leave home anymore, worn sandals all my life and will have a very hard time adapting to living anywhere else when I move.

So I think most people here will be from Central FL. Do you guys grow indoors or out? I always wanted to move up there and grow a few plants in my backyard. There is a lot more space up north, Its all city where I am. No one I know could really do anything outdoors unless they were leaving it somewhere.

I once found a 1 ft. plant in the drive thru of a McDonalds. :lol:

Yes its pretty cramped down here... and the neighborhoods are going to shit.

I got gang issues and everything, why can't we all just get along... and smoke a joint.

I have friends that live up in orlando, I always wanted to work in disney world:mrgreen:

I likes the kiddies, other peoples kiddies tho!

30 minutes from orlando,west palm use to get good waves but havent been that way in a while.reef road.its defantly hard to gow inside in florida,summers are brutal.no attic growing thats for sure

No shit? Small world I guess. I lived in Downtown West Palm and Loxahatchee....You might be able to get away with some outdoor growing in the Lox. Man, I loved living out there...Whereabouts West Palm if you don't mind me asking?

FL is the place to be... gotta love the 80+ degree january days.

I know what you mean Im a 4th generation floridan. and watch the place go to shit,Ive been living here for 20 years.I think im outa here,probably move to tennesse for some privacy. IT would be nice not to worry about nieghbors smelling my shit

Northern florida is what your looking for...That's where I'll be in less than 2 months. Everybody from South Florida is doing it. A lot of ppl are moving north for just those reasons.

Yeah Ive heard nothern florida is just great for privacy and doing your own thing. Being down south I have to worry about people smelling... better yet STEALING my shit.

5 houses on my block got hit this holiday season. I need to move... so so bad.

Yeah I feel ya...I love South Florida. But, the crime is a bitch. Hopefully, northern Florida will have that same feel with less people and crime.

Tampa, I plan on doing outdoor grow this spring, 10 fem durban poisons, has anybody had any experience growing outdoors down here, things im worried about are drought and bugs, but i'll let you know how it goes

The only thing I'm worried about is them damn hurricanes. Last outdoor I did in Florida was the year we got hit by 3 in a row and destroyed my crop...Hopefully, we can go one more year without hurricanes.

I have heard great things of outdoor growing in Florida, I am more an indoor play god sealed room woman.

I can't believe we are getting droughts... what is this CA? :lol:
Can't even wash my car, No one ever thought it would happen here I bet

And don't get me started on hurricanes... Thankfully I have a big generator out back.
Wilma ruined my crop :(
