Anybody know how risky it is to grow on farm land with all of these choppers flying overhead? Only have two plants in ground btw

Plus pines grow really airy down here anyways so there isn't good visual barrier provided by them. If you grow outside in fl, your best bet is guerrilla grow in the everglades lol

they probably wont even notice a couple small plants out there. bigger ones maybe.
btw they dont use FLIR for outdoor crops, they dont put off heat signatures. i have heard this myth several times but not sure why people think this. all you gotta do is look up pics or vid of some IR footage and you'll see all the plants and trees all look the same.

you should probably be fine then. typically outdoors they are looking for large, dark green patches.

Yeah i think what i will do is put each one in different spots. I am using black mesh pots though, wouldn't that givr it away if they stumbled across it?

one small black speck out in a field somewhere will probably go unnoticed. i was going to say paint the pot but you said they were mesh so i imagine your talking about a fabric style pot or some sort of other kind of pot designed to allow air and some light to your soil? if thats the case you dont want to be painting your pots. you could always get some brush and pile it around your pots so they blend in too but that also COULD encourage bugs to come hang out and nest around your plants as well. you could just spray some pesticides AROUND your pots though and keep that down. outdoors i would recommend that anyways.

Yeah mesh pots are just fabric pots that allow better drainage and air to get to the roots. I actually use foot powder to ward off bugs, it works great for just about anything. I put up chicken wire and bear urine as well to discourage any critters.

very nice. i usually just piss around the grow site myself :p lol
but ya i wouldnt worry too much about your pots being seen if theres just one here and there. but if you are ide put some brush around them.

After i germinate my seeds can i just put em into a 4 gallon pot and not transplant at all? I know a lot of ppl like to go from smaller to larger pota gradually, but i would prefer to put it in one pot and leave it in one pot. Is the best way to germinate in a wer paper towel in a bag or to stick the seed in the soil when the soil is wet?

either way of gemination will work fine. you got less of a chance on fucking the tap root up if you just plant it in the soil though. and yes you can start plants in their finishing container but if you water heavily they will take a lot longer to dry up in between waterings. this might sound like a good thing because you dont have to go out and water them as much BUT these plants like to dry out a bit before being watered again. the roots have to be able to breath oxygen and they cant get any if they are smothered in water all the time. if you choose to go that route i was advise you to add LOTS of extra perlite to your mix. maybe even up to half perlite.
