Interesting, how much light do you think they cut out.

Most will say around 10% so its not much the only thing i don't like about cooltubes are the footprint that's why i use the shades but each to there own

11 days from 12/12 and I think I will let her go from here. I have heaps of vertical space, so that's no worries.

Wow this thing has exploded. I have done one last tuck of shoots under the screen and now it's time to let it go.

In the middle I managed to bend one top across and I'm hoping the little shoots out of the nodes now exposed will become bud sites, is this what normally happens?

Shes really coming alone now bro good job my bigbang didn't stretch much so let's hope it keeps stretching for a couple more days but yes the more nodes getting full light will turn in to nice fat buds

I have been giving it a good whack of advanced nutrients pk boost. I normally start my pk hits at day 5 of 12/12 in low doses and then crack it up

Yeah she shows her flowers really fast it's good just means she will focus on making you some nice fat colas I only follow canna and use my PK boost at week 5 but if it works do what you do my bro shes looking great

Cheers bro, I had previously used it later in the past and then an old man told me to hit it earlier, so I thought, why not give it a shot.

Normally I wouldn't have flowers like this at 2 weeks, but then again I didn't veg those other plants for as long. So I assume she was really mature and ready to flower.

Cheers, no I didn't. I've kinda smoke this strain out now. So I'll be doing something else next time

Yeah i enjoy trying new weed but i think if i was to only grow one strain you would master it as you would understand everything about it from stretch to how far you can push it everything but i get bored smoking the same weed all the time that's why i try and do a couple keep things interesting

Update. She is now day 17 of 12/12.

I have put a couple other close ups of an issue developing. Can anyone help please and tell me what's happening. It's only on a couple tops at the moment.

I've only really been checking what's going in. Keeping ph at 6.5 and ppm at around 1300

Looking at that chart, kinda looks like sulphur def maybe

check your run off and test that if its higher then what your feeding it just give her a little flush might have a salt build up

So I think I know the problem. I started flushing and the run off EC was 4, I have flushed her a bit now and the run off is now just under EC 2, I assume this will help out.

I think where I went wrong was that I didn't have a big enough saucer to collect the run off, so every time I feed, I rarely had much run off as I didn't want it going all over the floor of the tent. I have fixed this now, so I can allow a fair bit of run off and im going to rig up an easier way to flush when its needed.

So here we are, three weeks into 12/12. Think I have solved the issue I was having before. She is looking much better.

First photo before defoliating, second after some defoliating (that's all I'm hopefully planning on doing) and the last photo is all the shit gone under the screen.

I just used my fingers to pluck. I try to take care but sometimes pulled a little bit down the steams. Not much. She's a hardly plant so I doubt it will do much

Hey DirtyNerd, wondering if this sounds right?

When I flushed my run off was around EC 1.8 and PH 5.9. so today she needed some water so I feed her about 15L of water to get around 15-20% run off. I added just normal flowering nutes to EC 1.75 @ PH 6.4. My run off read EC 2.75 and PH 5.8.

Is this right or do I need to correct it further

Hey bro

Means you still have a bit of build up

Try this feed with your normal level till the run off is the same once you reach that wait till the next feed do 1/2 strength

Try week feeding

1st full strength
2nd 50%
3rd 100%

Are you Using RO water or just tap water

If your using tap water leave it out for 24 hours before you add your food

Plus once you make up your mixture leave it for a hour and make sure your not adding to much ph down or up

Or some of the nutrients might take time to bring up 100% correct reading on the ec reader it should but this just me thinking out of the box

Some people in soil will do

Nutrients feed
Then next feed just ph water
Then nutrients

Don't stress to much they can really take a lot for the first 4 weeks of flower then after that they get a litttle touchy best to fix it now before it becomes a problem later on
