If it's a vacation home but you want to write off the expense of traveling there and buying new carpet by "renting, but not renting" it out.

You could tax homes other than the primary. Until Reagan, you could write off the interest on 1000 homes, now it's only your primary and secondary. We changed that silly loophole, now let's attack the corporate tax code and really make a difference.

Primary home is tax free, this would encourage home ownership, any home after that would be taxed at the consumption rate instead of being the tax write-off (for business expense) that it is now.

Just spitballing ideas.

Please explain your problem with peaceful and voluntary human interactions conducted on a consensual basis of the concerned parties?

I don't hate people in general, I judge people as individuals, some I like, some I don't.

My "problem" is I'm not fond of systemic coercion as a business model. You love it and embrace it. You make excuses for it and have friends that rely on the inherent extortion.

Also, I'd slam dunk on your skinny self, even now 30 years after retiring my Chuck Taylors. You got no game, none.

They are actually laughing at the people who wanted to raise income tax on those making over 200K in an effort to stick it to the rich. Are you one of those people?

I was calling for corporate law reform so the GEs of the world pay as much as the mom and pops. I was calling for a change in investment income and have it classified as "income" if that is your sole source of revenue. This would target the .01%, the people who really have money like Romney and pay little in taxes compared to the rest. You keep screaming about the 1%, when someone making 250K in Long Island is still living pay check to pay check like the rest of us. Focus on the Uber rich and leave the professionals who actually have to work for a living alone.

Whenever I see rants against the 1% I know they are being fed that line from the 1%ers like Maddow because 250K is really not rich no matter how much they claim it is. Slogans are awesome though. I really loved when Moore appeared at the Occupy Wall Street and pretended to be one of the crowd.
