So far I'm second guessing the switch to pure blend pro. This second grow and same issues as before, I mean it's working but plants are not as healthy as they would be with GH three part. Im not sure if the pbp lacks sulfur and that's what's lacking as the GH has plenty of sulfur where the pbp seems not to have any on label. Im going to try a little Epsom salt see how she likes it.
Damn mate, no good hey! At least the mag sulfate won't do any harm!!

Hell yeah. I'm not a sports guy but I watched the world series just because I grew up near Chicago. It was a hell of a series too.
Good stuff man, I'm not usually a sports person either but if the Aussies are playing in the soccer, I'll watch it! Glad the cubs won for you mate!

Glad to see the BD and kosher are going well, I wish it was scratch and sniff too!! Seems the 5th isn't so good! that sucks man!

Well it's official, I'm a dumb ass. I've been thinking the PBP was giving me issues. I always check ph of water before I feed the plants but have not been checking the run off ph. Well I checked it today and fuck me the ph's bottom feel out. Sitting down in the red, 4.0-. No wonder the girls looks mad. I flushed each with 6-7 gallons each and will do it again next watering. The run off got up to 5.5-6.0 range.

I've never dealt with acidic problems so had me a little confused as how to diagnose it, had me thinking sulfur. Now I've figured out the issue hopefully I can get a descent return but I've already fucked myself. Be lucky to get even .5 gpw now, boo. lol Shit happens and good thing from this run is I get to see the potential of this sour kosher pheno I got and kind of stress test her.

Cheers.

Oh shit man, the old pH issue hey! It get's the best of us mate! You reckon it's your soil mix or the nutes? Glad you got it sorted though man, hope you get them back on top from here!

I mix nutes then ph to about 6.0 but I'm thinking that as they use up the water the ph drops. I use tupur which is a coco mix I fed each plant 1 gal, they're in 2 gal pots, so I get a descent run off. I think I need to ph around 6.5 to allow ph to drop and just keep checking run off. I'll post up some pics once the girls come to.

Yeah sounds like you worked it out mate, my nutes used to do the same thing, especially in summer when they smashed the water! Just keep checking man, you'll get there!

Well at first the sour kosher had a strawberry star burst smell but that has no transformed into grape flavored hard candy i.e. jolly rancher or Blow pop suckers. I am super stoked on the smell. I had to remove plants from the tent to water them and when I move the SK it just smells like grape air fresher or something but not flowering weed.

I actually keep rubbing it just to "make sure" I'm smelling what I'm smelling. LoL

I'm digging her for sure.

For those keeping an eye on the 5th element, my pheno is not a winner and I probably will leave her out of most family photos. No discernible smell and she is probably a week or so behind the Sour K and the blue dream.

As far as the sour kosher goes, big thumbs up. Smells like grape or berry hard candy or sugary fruity goodness. She is also stacking on weight fairly well.

Blue dream is also doing well. Has a nice blueberry citrus undertone and is flowering really well, she's a chunky little girl.

I addressed the ph issue but unfortunately it was too far into flowering to do anymore good than to just prevent the damage from getting worse. I figure that mistake will cost me around 30-40% of the yield I should have been able to achieve with these plants. Plus I really expected the blue dream to get a lot bigger but she stayed short. I'll let the clones veg a bit longer.
