Eso's grow (sour kosher, 5th element,blue dream)

Peaking of the 5th element. I have to say I underestimated her a little. She is a slow flowerer but she is a yielder and the chronic looks legit, it does have a generic skunk weed smell so no telling what she'll taste like but she'll be a quarter pound or damn near close by time she is done flowering.
She's at 71 days of 12/12

Well round two is looking good vegging, just waiting on the 5th to finish up and then move these girls in the tent to veg under 400w for a week or two.

The fifth comes down this weekend a little earlier than she would like but I'm not waiting a full 90+ days. If anyone as one of these freebies laying around she is worth the go just because she flowers huge and bud is coated. Could end up being weak but shouldn't be.

Thanks Mo! This time these clones are going to show me what they're really made of, they're looking like they're supposed to this round.

And I'm not patient enough to go the 5th's full duration, she'll need real close to 90 but I'm actually about to chop her in the next hour or so at 10 weeks on the dot.

Well the 5th is hanging and probably 2 days from the jar for sweating and curing and boy that bitch stinks to high heaven. She actually reminds me of dinafem's power kush, just generic skunk bud. I don't see any blackberry kush in it that's for sure.

So I transplanted the girls Wednesday into new tupur soilless mix and they are loving it. Well they did until I moved them from the 4 bulb 4 foot t5 to a 400w hps and like a dumb ass I put them too close, at 1 foot, but I should have set them on the ground at like 3 foot. The leaves drooped and then today I noticed some sunburnish leaves. Nothing burnt but you can see the lighter green areas where she was affected. Should be no issues and this go around they should stay nice and green.

I don't feel like netting these girls up but I might figure some way to spread the canopy out and fill up some space. I have a feeling I'll need some support for buds this go around since I'm allowing the plant to get much taller and sprawled out more. I'll probably start flowering these clones in around christmas, maybe a christmas flip, that or I'll hold out for news years for a news years eve flip.

Also I ended up buying a ppm and ph pen and I realized the ph drops I've been using are garbage or inaccurate as fuck, that's why I was having such a shitty go last time. I was rising the ph because the drops would show bright red and shit was not 4.0 or lower, so in reality she sat at 6.6, but i raised the ph because drops showed red. I think I raised it too high but drops would show it to be at like orange-yellow which would be 5.6-6.3. Confusing I know that's why I say fuck those drops. Pen is much easier.

I had a brain fart the other day when I put my girls under the 400w hps and they got shocked from the intensity and I totally forgot I have a digital ballast that I can lower the setting to 250w. So I stressed the plants for no reason other than absent mindedness. Well I dropped it down to 250 and shit is straight.

Now that I'm monitoring ppm level and ph with pen I'll give some info for those following along or those who happen by. This grow I'm vegging with floranova but I will most likely flower with PBP and kool bloom again and revert back to just PBP, but I might flower these girl with floranova just to compare with the previous result with PBP. I like the PBP because it isn't as chemical based as the nova, I know bottled fert is not organic but PBP does help with terpene production, aka the flavor. Also I'm using Royal Gold Tupur which is coco/sphag moss mix so I supplement cal/mag

Northern Oregon tap water is clean as it sits at 30-39 ppm of dissolved salts and ph is neutral at 6.9-7.0.
Veg nutrient levels. w/floranova

Seedlings/young clones (100-200 ppm)
1/4 tsp or 1.25 ml
1/2 tsp or 2.5 ml cal/mag

Veg (approx. 1-3 weeks) (300-400 ppm)
1/2 tsp or 2.5 ml
1 tsp or 5 ml cal/mag, * I keep at this level throughout grow

Veg (3 weeks until flowering) (500-600 ppm)
1 tsp or 5 ml
* cal/mag

Flowering w/PBP and kool bloom

Early flower (through week 2)
1 tsp or 5 ml
1/2 tsp or 2.5 ml kool bloom
*cal/mag

flower (week 3 until last week or two) (500-700 ppm, possibly 800-900ppm but rarely)
1 1/2 tsp or 7.5 ml, though sometimes I will do 2 tsp/10ml but only if plants are growing off the chain...
1 tsp or 5ml kool bloom
*cal/mag

last week or so
no more than 1 tsp or 5ml of PBP
half normal cal/mag
half the kool bloom and then none the last few days.

I also will add that I'm hand watering since I only have a few going and I typically water every other day until the plant is drinking heavy then I have to water daily. I water with nutrient mix only, never plain h20, ph to 5.6-6.0 but aim for 5.8 though I like to let it shift a little as certain nutrients have different take up variances. I always water till run off is achieve.

Thanks Mo. I think I have the grow dialed back in so should be a good go.

Man this go around is looking aces compared to last go. God damn it man they're looking healthy. I got two different blueberry fems going and they're looking good too. I'll be throwing those girls in flower soon as well but while they're still small. Clone them and veg clones after this trial run but I don't want to get them too big in case they suck. Anyway those are in another thread if people are interested.

Here is a trimmed shot of the 5th element. I tasted a small somewhat dry bud and it's an alright kush taste, not og but kush. All in all I would say if you're looking for a commercial strain it might be worth it because she yields and she handled the stress well with no hermies.

Here are a few shots of the sour kosher and blue dream clones and this time they're stretching a bit more than last time and I think I might have messed up not tying them back more. I'll try and let the sour kosher just finish stretching without tying her back somehow but she is already 14 inches from the light and it's only 5 days of 12/12. Girls are much healthier and are growing much better than last time so they got bigger than I expected. I decided not to keep another clone of the blue dream seeing as how it and the kosher have similar highs but kosher is better all around.

Awesome sauce. I'll be throwing them girls in flower soon to try and keep small while clones grow.

The clones are doing well and smooth sailing so far. This round is looking real nice this time around so if the sour kosher herms out again she'll have to go but the last round she hermed out so late in flower that no pollination happened.

I had to tie the sour kosher out as she stretched out quite a bit. The blue dream has less stretching going on so no need to tie her back.

Dude awesome grow!! Those clones are looking amazing as well! I also think you've sold me on the sour kosher haha. Gonna have to grab a few of those in the near future!
