Working out a deal with growers house on sending me a phantom reflector for the difference between what I paid already for the bulb and kit and what a full setup costs.

Tempted to run my 600w HPS between the two 315w cmh.

my last 2 grows have been a 400hps and a 400cmh under 1 huge reflector. probably my best combo of weight and quality.

i'd say go for it!

The plants will hate the HPS.

I do suppose its easy to write upcoming technology off as hype or gimmick or even nonexistent since there is very little info available about iit.

Those GSCH are eating like champs. Filled them up at 840ppm(#1), 800ppm(#2) and 690ppm(#3) on Wednesday night. Saturday morning they are at 680ppm(#1) and 580ppm(#2) 510ppm (#3)

Never fed plants this much in veg before.

Fruity Chronic Cookies #1 I fed at 680ppm now its at 600ppm
Fruity Chronic Cookies #2 I fed at 550ppm now its at 520ppm

Platinum GSC x Yeti OG will be finishing soon. Nothing special to take pictures of. But now I know its nitrogen sensitive.

FCC#1 and GSCH #3 got moved to the flower area since they are on the smaller side. Made a clone off each even though I don't like the way FCC#1 is growing. Probably my own doing as they are younger than the rest and I didn't give them a booster seat. Though FCC#2 is not growing lanky and it was the runt of the two.

Veg area has more room now going to flip just the scrogged GSCH plants (1 & 2) but I need to create an area for the clones and currently more lights are down than work at my house :(

T5HO needs a new 4 lamp ballast. I guess 2 lights is better than none, or a flowering timed light. Or just a new fucking light. I hate that t5ho fixture. It burns out bulbs so quick

White hps, why isnt anyone taking this seriously, hortilux does not fuck around.

I'll tell you why I can't take it seriously; I feel like I'm driving the fastest car in the race while looking in the rear view mirror at all these other lighting technologies jockeying for second, third and forth place.

i like that extra red of the hps in flower along with the full spectrum of the cmh.

plus, total expense for what's on hand: 0 dinero.
I'm not making it up; I ram a thousand watt HPS in between my 860W CDM Allstart lamps, and the plants told me in no uncertain terms that they were not pleased with the HPS lamp. More than once.

Your just joking around. Funny stuff though!!!!
No, I'm not. I'm working with lighting that is 60% efficient and has spectrum response right straight from Mr McCree's wet dreams.

Nothing burning a light bulb comes anywhere near that- so while the technical innovations are interesting, they aren't gonna make me switch.

oh so now we go right from hps does not work to plants hate it? bahahaha
Plants don't hate, people do.
I'm only saying it based on the results of my own side by sides. I expected it would work a lot better than it did, too, so you can't call me biased!

If you think about it .......how many people do you suppose use hps?
And if all their plants are hating it wouldn't all these people realize "fuck, my plants hate hps" and change shit up?
I mean I change shit up a lot myself, I'll give anything a try once and repeat if I like it.

Run the two lamps next to each other and let the plants tell you, then.
