    greetings colleagues!
    I need your advice.
I have a problem with brown slime algae on the roots. Im going to use physan to kill harmful microorganisms. As i know, flushing will be enough for removing physan from roots. I use rockwool and i suppose that i should soak it with physan solution, in order to suppress algae growth. I need to flush it too, or just wait? How long should i wait after using physan before adding bennies?

Yes, you can use tap water. However, tap water does contain chlorine or chloramine. You must check which your tap water contains. If it contains chlorine you must leave the water out for a day for it to dissipate. You can also put an air stone in it and bubble it to speed up this process. This is done because chlorine is known to kill bennies. Chloramine on the other hand I've heard is much more difficult to get rid of so if you have that in your water post back here and someone will help you out. :) Good luck!
