DWC/bubbleponics using hps's (the pro choice of lighting)

Great thread! I'm also new to DWC/Bubbleponics. I'm 11 days into my Papaya & Haze 19 x Skunk #1 grow.

I run quad 6500k T8's for vegetation on a 10 plant 30 gallon bubbleponic tub (mothers, new from seed strains). I opted for the 1 inch air stones that attach directly to the tubes. Air curtains and stones just don't have anything on those little guys.. you pump some serious air into a round 1" or a straight 1" people would be amazed by how much comes out. Its mostly due to all the air focusing on a small 1" air stone bar or ball as opposed to the big 12 or 16" long air stones.. You throw 3 of the 1 inchers into a tub its gonna bubble like mad.

The rest of my setup as in regards to your threads..

Veg is the 30 gallon 10 pot bubbler.. flowering are double 30 gallon tubs (16 plants total, 8 in each one) and 10 separate 5 gallon buckets for the ones i'm going to veg very large then flower even larger. This allows me to do 16 plants in SOG at one time and 10 more non SoG so they can be vegged for a longer time and flower even longer to get a much higher yeild per plant.

The flower room contains a 1000 watt sun systems HPS with a 6" vented enclosed glass hood. Will probably get another one of these quite soon in fact.

Looking forward to your thread growing :)

I started counting days after they were transplanted into rockwool. I havent had any problems at 6.3. Yet anyway.

so when you say watering 24 hours a day, you mean the roots are drinking from the DWC water, not that you have a pump giving water directly to your rockwool, right?

i think my system is a lil different to yours i feed from the top with a ring so from the start they get some feed and also when they touch the ress water so you could say therse getting fed twice

I know, it has grown quickly, & so it should as they aint much dedicated to dwc. By the looks of it a few ppl are interested in dwc and the yields plus its easy to maintain once you get going, lets make history here guy's keep posting no matter how insignificant the info the outcome = better weed.
all the best on your grow guyoverthere peace

im growing dwc for the first time, well first time growing. i guess it's going well. my plants are a little over a month old from seed. and 80% of the problems i encountered was my excitement. watching the plants, moving and rearranging my grow cab, focusing too much on ph level (when i don't have a real meter.) and other bull shit just because...i don't know...maybe i'm reading too much and want to have a great grow. Now that i'm finaly starting to leave it alone it's starting to take off. altho i don't post alot, i learned a lot from u guys and want to say thx
