hi fellow farmer's just wondering if any one uses, hps because it seems as only a few choose to use them on here for what ever reason :confused::confused: it seem's strange:shock:as ive only ever used hps's or metal halides, and know only one other person outside of RIU who uses cfl's not with the best results in term's of yeilds it would be nice change to see more hps grow's especially in the DWC/bubbleponics section as the yeilds are ridiculous in the right system any new's links or pics bring em on

ill check it out bro, as 4 the airstone's ive gone crazy with them in total ive got about 7 in total thats in a 90 ltr ressivoir half full, all different shapes an sizes ill put up some pics in a few days most ppl i know use less so i thougth id be a lil different lol talking about airstones only the other day i bought a new one suppose to be the best on the market at the min its a circular flat shape and about 12" wide like i said ill put up some pics

I currently use a 600w with my system doing bubs. I use 4 foot flexible airstones with a small commercial air pump and it works great, think they only cost me 2 bucks a piece, they are flexible, 4 feet long, and dont clog up if you rinse them when you flush. I wrap them around the root ball and my plants love it!!

i use them aswell, but there not the best unless u give them a good tug and there kept moist which is hard when there in bbl's around the root zone not saying not 2 use them as i use them myself,in saying that ive pulled 1 out and left the other in and the one with out it looks better with more production at a quicker rate,i wouldnt knock it unless i tried it 1st all the best bro :peace:

HPS during flower is the best hands down.... When accompanied by DWC and proper grow environments, changing water every 2 weeks and feeding on time, maximum results will incur most deffinetely...

The more air u force into ur water solution only maximizes these benefits.

Hps+Dwc Equals maximum production+time effectiveness

I'm going bubble as well. I'll be using 2x150W HPS though along with some CFLs. I'd get some higher watters but heat is a problem for me, 70 - 90F ambient around here. I myself am using 2 15inch air stones in each of my 2 tubs.

150 hps. I need two of those as well. Where do you get them?

i have a 400 MH and a 600 HPS
2 x 12 litre per minute air bubblers.
one plant under each is the plan
im moving to DWC soon, just designing the ultimate DWC setup.
seperate res is a must for me, so some plumbing etc still to be done
I also like the idea of lots of rocks in the DWC to give the roots something to hang on to, and to slow the rise of the air bubbles.

have a peek at

https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/129061-ddwc-distributed-deep-water-culture.html

to see my reasoning :)
