DWC/bubbleponics using hps's (the pro choice of lighting)

hey onthed0008 thx.....yeah i been putting 3% peroxide in there like every couple of days. i had like six in there to start with. but i had 1 plant that took off real fast. it was bout 14''-15'' and the day i joined this thread i found out it was a male... i had to do an honor kill like the arabs. lol.... i was pissed though cuz he covered everything up in there. so 3 didn't get any light. but i think what i have left is girls....hopefully.

i don't know how to do that quote thing yet but i think that hedge apple give off a scent that drive pest away or at lease that is the myth. some myth i found on google. but i been putting peroxide in the water from day one. and the gnats were in there. what ever it is..fuck it there gone.

how far along in your grows are yall
 
heh, i looked up the whole apple thing. most places say the myth is false.

It does contain compounds that deter pests but you would have to extract them somehow.
 
well lit adds excitement to the box.lol more green. any body got some pics of the start of budding. i can't tell if it is budding or more branches are growing.

Bro I like that apple thing u have growing along side ur plants lol... I dont know how it may affect the growth of ur plants tho.... I still like it none the less
 
i added 2 of those air tubes that have the lil suction cups,one on each side and they work great

yeah them bubble curtains are the shit. i actually took off the suction cups and let ti float right under the roots and the girls love the air blowin up there skirt

I did the same thing. the girls love it.
 
I ran into some heat problems with my 150 watt hps. who would've thought. everybody says it don't put out much heat, but the 3rd degree burn on my arm calls bull shit.

the heat had one of my girls limp like a heroin addict. but after some detox she bounced back. her head is burnt to hell but new growth is slowly comin.

i got a hurricane glass today and i need some suggestions on how to mount this. but

Look under th DIY. Section of the Growfaq and it teaches you how to build one.Id use the pyrex bake round for the cooltube.I have one i purchased and it works awesom.YOu can hang the light like less than a foot with the cooltube without even thinking of burningi have 400w lamp in it.
 
well i put together my cool tube. didn't have the space to put it up the way i wanted but is all good tho. check it out and let me know what you think

Lets just say he didnt get off his stool in the 8th..But yea I felt bad for Oscar although I though he won the mayweather fight.
 
pound for pound? I'll have to disagree with you. Mayweather landed alot more. if anything it should have been a draw. but not a win for Oscar
 
Dont get me wrong I never really liked Oscar even when he great, Thought I could whoop his ace If only people could see he fights like a robot. But U cant take a mans belt by slapping and running it shouldnt be allowed.Oscar hurt him a few times.So a draw at the least.
Pacman on the other hand, I dont think it would even be close.
 
lol....Me and my wife still argue bout that fight. one thing i learned is if it comes down to the judges, Mayweather is gonna win. his thrown/land ratio is impressive. we play the point game instead of the fight game

now him and pacman... it's gon come down to who punch harder
