Dont bother with Original Sensible Seed Company if youre in USA

Hello all, my first ever seed order was placed to OSSC and it took three weeks but
I got them. I placed my second order with them on January 29. It was packaged and mailed and in the US by February 5. It sat there till the 27. The package came today with a cute Spanish toddlers book and a letter from US Customs that they have taken the seeds and destroyed them. I liked OSSC because they have seeds from just about every breeder known to man and they were the only ones who had the strains I wanted. I haven't given up on them yet. I emailed them and sent a copy of the letter. Will see what happens.

I received some more free seeds yesterday, unexpected, but, I noticed on this package and the one I received previously , that they are using the same address for returns, seems to me that could be easily flagged , I love the seed selection they have, some are things not found elsewhere, but, I did get my order using the unregistered mailing , my mailman said anything registered has to be signed for by the carrier accepting it to move on to the next step, he said no one wants their name on an questionable package so, don't use the registered option and it seem to be the better option to use the cheapest mailing option

Just got my seeds ordered on the 24th and they passed through Chicago. Got 27 seeds in all and 3 were crushed by either the rollers or some asshole. Sucks cus the 3 were my Bubba Kush 2.0.

Got word back they gonna give me credit. Sounds good if the fucking site worked right. Can't even access my account so what good is the credit. Great seeds, great selection, good customer service all built around a shitty website. I do hope they get their shit in order so I can get my damned Bubba Kush 2.0 beans.

Follow up .....10 out of 10 seeds popped within 48 hours, nice looking starts ...looking forward to "playing in CANDYLAND " this fall thanks osc

Sounds like the postman got your gear bro, some are bad about stealing European parcels. If it said out for delivery, the postman is the culprit, happened to me on an attitude order.

The dude that started this thread hasn't commented, I think he got his parcel. Any beans grown in Spain bought from OSS will be very fresh!!!

Ive made about 12 orders from ossc and got my beans every time...my last 2 orders came within about 7 days but usually takes me about 2 weeks...but never lost an order...I changed from the tude....I either go with herbies or ossc...b/c ive had a cpl orders seized from ordering from attitude

So I placed an order with sea of seeds, came in the mail 7 days later.

I had very much the same problem they never got seeds gave me half credit and when i reordered they cancelled my order and said my less than half credit was used on the ca ncelled order


Still nothing from Original SSC (Day 24). Don't bother with them, waste of time and money as I have not yet gotten a reply from them about my "refund", if I do get a refund I will update this thread.

Ordered from ossc, and 2 days later, their website goes down. This does not make me feel optimistic. I will post any results.

Hmmm. I was debating on ordering from them. Never seen this thread :-/

I just checked there website and its up right now.

I saw that. It's back down again.

The beans are in the mail. I repeat, the beans are in the mail.

The "site down" thing was my fault. I cleared my cache, and it magically came back. Computers are soooo dumb..

The eagle has landed. I repeat, the eagle has landed. In record time. 4 days to the east coast USA.

I would describe the "stealth" shipping as no stealth at all. I have seen a few different methods from other vendors that are kind of ingenious. Nothing like that here.

The international declaration reads "catalogue". Inside is literally a seed catalog with the order of 40 seeds and 18 freebies in individual baggies taped to a page. All of the baggies say what they are, and some with pics included. And the catalog itself is a full color glossy, cannabis seed catalog. Luckily I live in a decriminalized state and they obviously weren't looking very hard in US Customs.

Though I seem to have received what I wanted, I will not be going back to this particular source. Consider yourself warned.

I ordered mine on Oct 17, they shipped on the 22nd and I have yet to receive mine which means they are in customs and when and if the package arrives it won’t have the seeds.
OSSC said to give it 36 days, but they said I should be receiving the package shortly. FYI: Dutch seed bank has shipped my seeds within hours of ordering and I have received within 6 days. problem with them is the lack of choices.

I’ll keep you all posted when my package arrives.

Instead of order from Orignal-SSC I got a Mail Interception Notice from U.S. Dept. of Agriculture this is not cool so be careful and do homework before ordering any seeds
