they don't want to be involved and have said so but our oh so wise Gov't forces them to be the gatekeepers.
they won't listen to anyone about it except for those who are against it!

The only thing any of us like about the green party is the name.
Aside from mj and we dont even know their stance what positive difference is there between any of the parties? Its nonsense.
Id vote communism over any of these parties too. unfortunately a true communist society is impossible. So no matter what we are left with a political hierarchy.

you can get increases as you need when you renew...yeah, renew.
i don't understand why you have to renew if the Dr's say it's permanent...but that Vet who lost his legs has to prove disability each year so I guess it's not that weird....but it IS wrong
its one thing to deny every non terminal person but to deny handicapped vets?

sheesh...what kind open minded people are running our country eh?

I renewed my MMPR 3 weeks ago. My first one I got through my GP was for 5 grams a day. Sadly he retired a few months ago. For my renewal I went through green dr network, sent my medical documents and paid 450$. Within a week I had a Skype appointment and was offered 5 grams. Green dr network and bodystream really work if you have the cash and medical documents. The whole process took 3 weeks, from initial registration to ordering from the LP. Also...you can get more then 5 grams if you ask. The 5 grams applies to the maximum an LP can ship in one order 5x30=150grams. If you are prescribed 10 grams a day your LP would have to send 2 shipments at 150 grams each. My brother in law has 12 grams a day under MMPR. Each written prescription can only be for 5 grams, so in his case the Dr sent in 3 different scripts two for 5 grams and one for 2 grams. How anyone can afford 12 grams a day from LP is beyond me lol.

Might as well drag the sick into an alley and give em a good beatin. SAD SAD SAD...
And then pay 12 buck a gram...real inequity in this mmpr deal they setup at all. But they are all sure making plenty of money on it all now aren't they ??? SHAMEFUL
To do that to sick folks...or anyone....disgusting.

I just came home from an appointment and a reup with my doctor i told him i use way more than 5 grams a day because im now using edibles made by a family member so i need an increase. He told me i cant possibly afford more than 5 a day so just keep the 5 a day going and supplement myself however i need to. He also told me i am allowed and he would prefer if i make my own edibles

Kinda strange he said u can extract it seeing as we all know it's still illegal right now, yet I see canadian med patients dabbing on youtube with no problem as well...

I just filled out the online questionnaire for Green Doctor Network (greendoctornetwork.com) and I'm still waiting on my confirmation e-mail from them.

I'm a bit confused as to how this works. From what I understand, they will charge me $400 for an MMPR document, but this alone is not sufficient to get the medical marijuana license, is it? I still have to visit a doctor and pay their office (most likely) for their consultation. Is that correct?

If that is in fact correct, what's the purpose of MMPR? Is a doctors prescription not enough? Is this a scam? I legitimately suffer from IBS, Insomnia & anxiety/depression and my GP has all of this on file but he's not on board with MM.

So is it even worth it to invest in the Green Doctor Network, or should I just keep away? Has anybody applied with the Green Doctor Network and been turned away?

My friend got declined from green dr network but he had zero medical history and no documents.
The script from your dr becomes your license under the MMPR. The script gets sent in and your licensed producer sends you a patient card which is your "licence." The card says your name, dr name, daily dose and amount you can posses at one time.
You no longer get a license from health Canada like the MMAR provided.
If your dr won't give you a script for MMJ get him to write out your diagnoses and give it to green dr network. They will hook you up with a dr who will write your script which becomes your license to posses. If you have any questions feel free to ask as I recently went through the MMPR process with green dr network.
