SO much misinformation regarding fem seeds, majority of large Seedbanks and small breeders are using STS and CS to fully reverse a female plant to make seeds, if the plant is not HERMIE proned to start than using proper reversal Tek will not pass on a herming trait. I think a while back when fem seeds became the "new" thing I think maybe companies were reversing by forcing plants to HERMIE....
I would think that is no longer the case. I can not speak on there photo gear but as far as there autos they all have been top notch very high yielding gals...been very pleased with the three dp strain autos I grew....
Hermies to just plain old sucks!
Sending no Hermie karma EVERYONES way!

my understanding is to make fem seeds they hermie part of the plant and use that pollen and its true you get more fems from seeds from hermies but you also get the hermie trait carried over so im sure all fem seeds give you more fems but also hermies
wrong, the trait is only passed along if it is already in the plant. By forcing it with CS or TM your not bringing out something that the plant is doing naturally your chemically inducing it which is much different from having something from birth.

It is like asthma vs respiratory illness, you can be born with asthma or you could ruin your lungs by building houses in the past and inhaling too much drywall and insulation. That won't pass down to your children but asthma can and will be transferred.

Ive grown out DP's blueberry a few years back, grew out 3 packs of regs. They were nice plants, no herms but not the best smoke wise and there was a lot of variation in pheno's. No where near the quality of DJ's blueberry though :)

I grew out one durban poison from them that just finished a month ago (and just smoked some). I've got one seed from it so far, none from any of the other plants yet. I wouldn't call one seed a "hermie", and it still seems like great bud as far as I can tell

probably i dont know for sure but i think all fem seeds are more likely to hermie
Femmed seeds do not herm more! Some strains do. It has nothing to do with being femmed. I have grown many and never had a hermie except for Dutch passion blueberry.

No herm for me with DP. Remember, that strains come from all over the world and while your grow may be "perfect" in your eyes the girls may disagree. IMO, lowering your temps and nute intake significantly lower the possibility of problems.....especially with DP.

Only ran DP Strawberry Cough, Blueberry and Mekong High. SC and BB sucked and MH was pretty damn good.
Very Sativa and sticky as hell. Orange Asian tea kind of terpenes. Not super potent but a strong, clear enlightening high.
Dutch is like Green House..very hit and miss...I dont really ever plan on buying any more of their beans as theres too many other breeders much better out there now...

DP got their herm rep when they first released fem seeds.

It's been a long time since then.

I'm running DP's Strawberry Cough right now.

An amazing pheno I have then, vigorous . . . . .oooohhh yeah . . . . I had pistils forming after day 7 of flower!!! Nuffin wrong with Dutch Passion ime . . . . .

Out of 6 different lines from DP, not a single hermie . . . . . . In fact, hand on heart, I've never had a hermie, ever!!

I ran a 10 pack of DP skunk #1 feminized, I think the only fems DP offered, from Kind seeds, at the time. A lot of people were scared of fems back then but I feel you gotta take risks sometimes. All ten turned out very stable/similar and no hermies.

We cloned the keepers for years between lots of people because back then I was the only dude that was willing to "risk" ordering beans, everyone else had swagg bag seeds so them clones got passed around fast.

Afew yrs back (one of my first orders) I got a 5pk of Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough, it was before I found the forums and seen the herm reports..so I only tried 2..both ended up being female..both smelled fruity and sweet , however out of the two there was definitely one better pheno (in terms of frost, taste and potency). Needless to say I wasnt tooooo impressed with the SC from DP overall , but cant say I seen a hermie. Been looking @ Strawberry Diesel from Holy Smoke but its always out of stock.
