do dutch passion fem seeds really hermie a lot????

you guys got experience growing dutch passion fem seeds?do they tend to hermie a lot?

probably i dont know for sure but i think all fem seeds are more likely to hermie

i got pure power plant and skunk #11 from dutch passion both fem, not cracked um open yet....but if anybody has any news/info on dp fem seeds i to would like to hear about what you think about them.

my understanding is to make fem seeds they hermie part of the plant and use that pollen and its true you get more fems from seeds from hermies but you also get the hermie trait carried over so im sure all fem seeds give you more fems but also hermies

I grew five DP Blueberry plants last spring and ZERO hermied on me. They were strong plants, frosty as hell. So my experience with DP feminized seeds is that they are top notch.

sounds good.this koming up season i wanna try grow blueberry outdoors with hollands hope and purple#1 or shaman.think blueberry would make it outdoors?

I fell in love with DP because of their Blue Moonshine so I kept buying seeds from them, all of them feminized.

Blue Moonshine - 5 seeds - 5 females, 3 phenos. One of the pheno (the best one unfortunately) bananas when stressed.
Purple #1 - 5 seeds - 2 confirmed hermies, 2 others that are looking to be hermies (2 week flowering), 5th one has yet to be flowered so idk yet.
Skunk #11 - 2 seeds - 2 females (different stages of flowering so idk if diff phenos or not, or if they banana)
White Widow - 2 seeds - 2 females (same info as Skunk #11)
Power Plant - 2 seeds - 2 hermies

I have 5 seedlings of Mekong High about 2 weeks old. I also have a 10 pack of Blueberry, 5 pack of Mazar, and another 5 pack of Power plant unopened. I wish they sold more regular seeds, most of their strains are feminized only now. Hermies are the worst in my system because all my roots grow together. So my options are: (a) leave them to pollinate others (b) kill them along with my other good plants. Hermies suck.

Unfortunately, I have had pretty much the opposite experience with their Blueberry.
Out of the 5, only 3 germed, 2 died as seedlings, and the 1 that made it was weak and eventually hermied.
That was in 2004, so maybe they've gotten things under control since then, I sure hope they have.

My friend is growing Oasis and Strawberry cough from DP and the Oasis herms pretty bad. The strawberry cough is also lack luster but I don't think he's had hermie issues with it. After seeing his results, I'd never order from DP.

I'm curious .. what was lackluster about the Strawberry Cough?. Was it only one pheno that was grown. I'm curious. I was thinking of making a purchase.

I have a shining silver haze freebie from DP that's in week 5 of flower. This was my first grow and she looks beautiful . Even though I have no other experiences to compare to she was a pretty painless grow. Small bumps in the road but no hermie issues. I'll see if I have a pic...

Yeah, he got 5 beans and germed one. He must have germed the 'throw away pheno' because is was total garbage. It didn't hermie that I know of but the Oasis sure did. I would look elsewhere.

always good advice from ya. I read some of Hobbe's hermi test thread around here, I'm not sure if used all or just some DP ( bad memory) and there was a high hermi rate on almost all of the seeds and clones tested. The test didn't seem extremely controlled however.
But if your advising against it .... I'll take that for word. I've heard alot about DP seeds tendency to hermi. Having said that... I would like that Strawberry Cough still.... was also thinking about ordering another strawberry strain from Sagramatha, but i've read that there's a high rate of hermies over there too.
I'm sure DP gear is the shit. But even these smaller, less expensive seed companies put out some good beans. I can't rave enough about some of the genetics from Sweet Seeds. A low price, fem only seed company. Now i know that will catch alot of shit but the herb speaks for itself ..... anyways discussion for another time.... thanks again.

Just stay away from fems and you'll probably be ok no matter where you go.

Do you mean Super Haze? They do not have Shining Silver Haze.

Google Strawberry cough before buying. I've seen alot more bad reviews of that strain than good, otherwise I would have gotten it myself. As for the Blueberry, I have a 10 pack that I plan on opening next. I'll let you guys know the details as soon as I know.

yeah i've checked it out. It seems a bit difficult to grow. sound's like a finicky plant. I'm more interested in it for medicinal properties. THEY say it's a good anti-anxiety strain. I've tried another strawberry cross and to be honest .... it was fucking amazing for my anxiety. I was reluctant to even try it since it was a sativa dom.. but it came to be my favorite smoke to date.
anyways .... i'm fucking stoned.
Let us know how the DP Blueberry comes along
