I would definitely vote a yes on Mango based on the herb this seed came from alone. On a closer inspection there are already some swollen, frosty calyxes closer to the bottom nodes. Now all I have to do is wait for the whole plant to look like that.

Lots and lots of progress is visible every time I open the tent. We'l start with a group shot:

S1 Mango - Day 28 - Flower

She's making lots of growth every day in terms of resin and buds. Plenty of white hairs are all over here and the leaves on the tops are all starting to frost. I'd like to have it done in thirty days, but I'm hoping one of the buds is ready by 4/20 so I can celebrate it right this year. Images posted on imageshack for maximum gigantorocity.

The Flower Children

They're all looking great. Even the Big Widow seems to have recovered from the stress and is starting to grow much faster. It's still tiny, but hopefully the onset of flower was delayed a little more and she'll catch up later.

In no particular order

Sugar Black Rose - 23 days - 12/12 from seed

Kannabia Special - 21 days - 12/12 from seed

White Rhino - 19 days - 12/12 from seed

White Widow x Big Bud - 22 days - 12/12 from seed

I'm really impressed how much more foliage the WR is putting on terms of mass. It's the last to come up but it's leaves are the fattest I've ever seen on such a short plant.

The SBR and KS are awesome as usual. They're pushing out lots of new side nodes and pistils every day. Very impressive considering how little time has passed since they first showed gender.

More progress still. New pics in a day or two. The big widow is finally picking up the pace and there's tons of resin on the s1 mango. The WR is taking a little longer to start flowering, but it has shown gender.

Not much time here, so let's just get right to it

S1 Mango - Day 36 - Flower

Lots of new resin every day, and the tallest cola is dripping with frosty buds. I can see the calyxes doing a little swelling, but they're still pushing out lots of white hairs.

20110402115320.jpg20110402115419.jpg20110402115358.jpg20110402115343.jpg20110402114641.jpg20110402115350.jpg

All 12/12 from seed plants shown next to cereal box for scale. And deliciousness. They're all a bit stretchy as a result of the 12/12 schedule and distance from the light, but lots of budsites are showing so I can't complain.

Sugar Black Rose

Not much to say. Lots of pistils, but the KS is still beating her. Plenty of flowers and a little helpful fan leaf trimming is giving them more light.

20110402114634.jpg20110402114446.jpg

Kannabia Special

She's turning into my new favorite. She's been flowering much more quickly than the rest. If she goes this fast I'll have to keep cloning her for a long time. No visible resin, but I expect fat buds by the end.

20110402114528.jpg20110402114543.jpg

White Rhino

I'm pretty stoked, this plant is showing 11 blades now. She literally goes up to 11.

20110402115050.jpg20110402114910.jpg20110402114653.jpg

Big Bud x White Widow

She's definitely recovered from the trauma and is now starting to play a little catch up. The way I see it, I'll still have a little leftover when the rest of the plants are cured and possibly smoked away.

All in all, I expect to get a lot, but I'm gonna have to be more conservative with space next time.

Alright, so they're all about 38 days from 12/12, and here they are in ascending order

Mango, KS, SBR, WR, WW x BB

As you can see, there's some real swelling going on with the Mango girl. It wont be long until she's in my lungs now. I'm also impressed with how well the Big Widow is recovered. She's starting to show gender and a much faster, healthier growth rate.

I thought I was subbed but apparently was mistaken...well I am now!!! Looking good

Namaste':leaf:
Hehe, thanks for tuning in, lumi. You joined us right as it was getting good...

My jungle grows denser...

They're quickly starting to get out of control. I couldn't be more proud.

Mango - Day 43 - Flower

It's unbelievable. I thought this plant was going to be the runt of the bunch, but she's really blowing me away. Resin everywhere. Even when I stick my hands in to trim shade leaves I come out with sticky fingers. After doing a little research I think this may be Mango Haze that was mistaken for Mango. Possibly by the dispensary that sold it or the friend who gave me the seed. Either way, I'm not disappointed.

The 12/12 babies - 43 days from seed

Overall, they came out kinda stretchy, which couldn't have been avoided in this situation considering the light schedule and height of the Mango at the beginning. They're all looking great beside that, so no complaints here.

The SBR has taken over the Mango in height, and she's shooting out tons of pistils and new bud sites. The KS still has her beat on number of pistils and density, though. The White Rhino is pretty stretchy, but has shown 13-bladed leaves which made me jump around and do a little happy dance when I saw it. Big Widow is starting to catch up the Rhino in terms of height and pistls, though. I'm rootin' for her.

From left to right: Sugar Black Rose, Kannabia Special, White Rhino, Big Widow, group shot

I know I haven't updated in a while, but I've been kinda busy with my new job. But not too busy to take my first successful clones.

The SBR clone is on the left, Kannabia Special on the right. SBR looks kind of puny, but I didn't even expect it to root at all. Cheers!

Thanks, trick. I would have been happy with plants half this size, so this is great news. Hoping to pull 2 oz to a QP from these 5 girls.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been real busy with my new job. For now, we'll say this: The Mango has come down and I'll be using her entirely to make hash. She was looking good and just sort of petered out. The hit isn't that powerful, so I figure I could make some hash to keep my busy (and really high) until the rest of the girls come down.

Pics of my hash from the trim. Haven't made it from the bud yet, but that'll be happening soon enough.

What up. If you're still tuned in I'm sorry I've been kind of a ghost lately. They've turned up the heat around here and I think it may be a good idea to lay low.the Kannabia has been harvested (got about 3/4 from her) and the SBR is coming down in one week. I'll post some harvest pics of her but once I'm ready to start posting again in a perpetual journal.
