Disappointed with Breeders.

You better off tracking down that cut that won the cup..
This is exactly why the market is what it is. For the most part the market doesn't want an assortment of stable, worked strains. They want the cut du jour. Most growers can't get that so they want what they perceive as the next best thing, a cross made with the cut du jour. By the time you stabilize and test anything the train has left the station and you'll be stuck with a bunch of gear hardly anybody wants. That's why almost every breeder is chuckin'

Once legalization spreads everywhere and growers are be able to get cuts the market for seeds is going to change dramatically. Then you'll get your stable strains from the remaining breeders because chucking won't pay any more. Except for a few lucky survivors, the best/only way to make money breeding will be to get hired as a breeder for a big producer. That's whats going to happen, the most popular and cup winning strains will be proprietary with no seeds or cuts available.

Breeders/chuckers should do clone only release on some of they work..

All of what you said, is happening faster than we think.

So the whole damn time I been chasing and spending my money on seeds... cup winners and shit... it means nothing...in order to say I’m smoking in some cannabis cup weed... I need the F’ing cut...kidding me...

This high times and all etc.. how legit is it...
so as I thought... like a litter of pups...the seeds down to Gods work... simply will not be the same..

And like the OP said... it is a big task for the home smoking breeder.. to sift through all the plants... the cloning the waiting the smoking... yeah I would rather pay a higher fee for that seed that can win a cup.... I’m buying seeds anyway...then there’s the sake of growing it... and f’ing the whole grow up... and haven’t come close to the plants potential.

The highlighted part of your post is what makes most "elite cuts"...

Planting a seed/s & see what you get.. find something you like, keep it,pass it to your grow buddy's, see how they like it... now you have your own Elite cut.

Fuck High Times, fuck Cup winners, fuck cup competitors, and fuck anybody who gives a shit about that. Great, fantastic weed has always existed, regardless of any hype around it, and I'd even argue that some people who hold the best cuts keep that shit a quiet secret to themselves and their close community. Not everybody with good weed wants the world to know about it/sell themselves out for a quick chuck buck.

Not sure how breeders are at fault
You want a stable strain with identical pheno's ? good luck
Those elite cuts don't come from 10 seeds, but ya never know
That's funny, I was going to say the exact same thing! I can't think of one super strain that came from stabilized genetics. It is true that unstable genetics lead to variety but would it really be all that bad to pop three seeds and have Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mint, GSC Forum Cut, Platinum Girl Scout Cookies, etc...

I agree with this and it couldn't be more true imo. People seem to be growing more dank and some are chucking great crosses that put out fire. I am happy with what I have and I ain't trying to chase hype. Fuck that noise.
