conspiracy kush grow (tga test strain)

Looking good -- you should really transplant them at this point if you wanna maximize their growth rate. Those solos will slow'em down compared to putting them in bigger pots from here on out - unless you are trying to keep'em small due to space limits. Once their roots hit the edges they know how much room they have to grow - small container = small plant.

thanks!! I was thinking the same thing. Im gonna get them transplanted today. Into #2 nursery pots they go:mrgreen:

The kiddos are looking good, I see one stretched out quite a bit. How far away do you have the lights from the babies?

They were about 2 feet away but there closer now. Probably 14 inches.
Some of the stretch was from heat.

I transplanted one obviously but didnt think there was enough roots yet so Im waiting a little longer to do the rest. Ill have them all done by next weeks update.

Hey guys so I know why my plants are growing so slow and why there isnt much roots when I transplant them.
I packed the soil way to much:wall:
I been watching the weed nerd and sub was telling prospect to make sure to pack the soil down so it wont sink much. I took that to literally lol oops.
I did the same on the ones I had transplanted already too so I think there gonna be really slow.

At least I had only transplanted one of the conspiracy kush.
I transplanted another one today and didnt compress the soil that much. And im gonna do the other 2 tomorrow I ran out of soil.
They should start growing faster soon.
Well lesson learned.

Oh yeah my light got here yesterday the plants seem to be loving it.

Haha I noticed that too! I always pack mine a bit so it's not too loose but i don't try and compact it too much either, just so it's not too loose.

interesting you're gonna have a nice selection to compare the conspiracy kush to including both tga and non-tga genetics!

Yep im pretty stoked on them all.:weed:

Can anybody tell me whats causing this plants leaves to cup like this?

Its not as nice of a green color as it looks in the picture either.

I thought it was cause I let it dry out to much but I watered it yesterday and its worse today.

I watered with ro water ph at 6.4.
Im starting to think my dads ph meter is way off.

Looks like start of an n & mg deficiency from lockout due to either overwatering, underwatering, or bad pH.

Sometimes takes a day or two for these to get better after you fix it so wouldn't panic yet, but check the ph on your dads meter, because that happened to me this round too.

Thanks man.

First I thought it was doing it because it needed water. So I watered it.
Then I started thinking it was lockout because of ph.
Now I feel like I shouldnt have watered.
Oh well. Im getting my own ph meter tomorrow and will test it against my dads.
If his is fine then I overwatered.
Ill let them dry out good before next watering.

You can tell pretty easily if it's overwatered. First you can tell by weight. Overwatered it's going to be heavy. Second pop the dirt out of the pot and check the roots at the bottom. If it's overwatered they will likely be gray and unhealthy looking (not all but spots, particularly on the bottom) and not white and fuzzy.

You'll want to find out if it's anything other than overwatering you want to water to correct the situation.

If you're using a ph meter get calibration fluid to check your pH. I check every 2 or 3 times just because I'm paranoid. Also, you may not be able to use your new pH pen tomorrow. Almost every one I've ever had says to soak the tip for 24 hours first and i've sometimes had issues when i didn't. If you get the calibration fluid you're good either way :) Highly recommend a pen that does not have to be manually adjusted for pH, but those are more expensive.

I still feel its the ph. Other plants are starting to do it too.

Im gonna get a bluelab ph pen.calibrate by soaking in solution and press a button. Super easy.
It does need to soak for 24 hours. But I cant water for a few days anyways so I dont overwater.

If it is the ph and I need to fix it how do I go about it? Do I just water with water at the ph it should be or do I have to compensate for it being off and go the other way?

Disagree on compensating. Ph 6.5 every time always -- that's what the microbes like -- at least that's what I do and it works for me. I never check runoff pH. If there's an obvious lockout issue like mg I'll hit them with whatever's deficient at the same time.

I have the bluelab myself. I guess we're bluelab brothers ;) You definitely have to soak that one 24 hours -- some of the times i've had issues is when it got dried out and I didn't realize til I went to water, then used it without giving it the soak in. I leave mine sitting in 7.0 calibration fluid whenever I'm not using it. I'm happy with mine. Calibration is super easy.

I try to not to have any runoff so I dont water to much.

Ill go see what my dads got to add some mg when I water again.
