And regarding a question from doc sticky, i've been doing some more readin (seems like it never ends :) ) and i'm going to try to increase my yield compared with my previous grows by doing the following..the last two weeks before harvest, when i only give them ph'd water, i'm going to foliar feed them with a honey solution, and switch the light cycles to light-21h36/12h-dark

My previous yields were 0.5grams per watt.
Ok, my opinion on that is to keep feeding your plants nutes for the last 2 weeks and then use the emergency flush method which will give you a full flushing in only 3 days. I always use this method now and will never go back to the regular flushing methods.

A friend of mine recently grew some C99 that he got for free from a Planet Skunk givaway (They are currently giving away DNA seeds with every purchase now so everyone check them out if your lookin for seeds). They were some very nice plants and tough too.

Lol... I saw the title of this thread, and I just had to check it out... Love star trek but hate the new star trek look.. not going to see the movie.

Anyway... did you find out from your friend what strain it was ?

This looks like its going to be a nice grow, subscribed.

yeah it's C99, feminized seed, but the guy who gave them to me says that even though they came from 1 package, the charasteristics of the buds are quite diverse in taste and texture, even colour differs strongly. We'll see what gives.

M Blaze, i feel a strong urge to follow your advice since i have seen your grows and numbers ( .84 gr/W). Thing is, i've really been doing this research thoroughly on how sugar helps fruiting plants in general and how sugar -monosacharides in specific- is absorbed greatly through stomata of the leaves, hence the honey which allso contains part of the necessary trace elements besides being composed of over 90% natural monosacharides. This in combination with the 80% extra lighting over the last two weeks should be an interesting experiment if i compare my eventual yield with previous grows' yields.

However, i appreciate the given advice, if this experiment doesn't fullfill my expectations, i will most certainly give your method a try for further comparison.

What spray is it? You should be able to use your foliar spray in conjunction with your nutes during the last 2 weeks. Then follow that with a 3 day emergency flush and then their ready for drying. I have found that it helps to improve the final yield.

I am not saying its the only way to get good results coz when it comes to growing there is many ways to do things. Its good to see that you are comparing methods and learning from them all.

Good work.

i don't see a reason why i shouldn't try that, so i most certainly will, thnx for the tip

as for the spray itself, nothing specific, just ph'd water with a spoon of the best quality dark honey i could find, sprayed into a fine mist

I've been spraying the insides of my tent with misted water to get the humidity up and it seems to work, but i have to do it like every 2-3 hours when the lights are on to keep it that way, and the results are incredible the last 2 days. I didn't know it could make that much of a difference. But i won't be able to do this every day since i'm not home all the time. Next pictures this thursday.

Ok, i've put them on 12/12 today, start of day 29 from the seeds touching water. The sidegrows are coming along nicely and the plants are about 1 foot in height (about 30 cm), maybe a couple of inches smaller. I put them all in 4.5 gallon containers, i'll continue for two weeks with the mh lamp to minimize stretching, before switching to the hps. They're starting to smell nicely, there's only one plant showing sex already, but you need a mighty fine eye to spot it, the pistels are just too small. Any way here are the pictures, i'm getting all exited and it's only going to get worse as they will start to fruit..

Ok, slight problem, not to mention the catastrophic consequences... ALL 6 plants are hermies

there's no doubt

i decided to grow them anyway, try to cut away as many balls as possible..i have no fan within the tent, and last time i had some hermies, i got like maybe 10 seeds in the entire crop
