This grow is solid meaning I can pretty much guarantee nothing's gonna change setup-wise. I know I could use a better screen, better soil, better lights and everything but I'm using what I had on hand ya know?

That twine will end up in your buds, just saying.

It's kinda depressing seeing these balls. Idk if I should go ahead and chop it or give it to my brother so he can grow it out for seeds for my next grow.

meh if OP ends up with some smoke just based off stuff that was laying around then props to him

I'm sure he could kick it up a few levels if he really wanted but hes probably having fun messing around hah

Well I pulled the plant a couple days ago. It was a male and I just don't have time for that. On the bright side my OG seeds have finally arrived. I will be germinating them tomorrow!

Cool little setup, I still use my little CFL closet box . I had a small greenhouse stand (meant for growing tomatoes on your porch) that fit perfectly in the closet and as a bonus the shelves are all nice square screens

You can see I use 4 23w CFLs in a $1store turkey tray

I finally got my seeds in. They have sprouted and have been above soil for 5 days. I thought I had 2 Og seeds but I only got one Royal queen OG. I also got a strawberry sour diesel from devil's harvest. Those 2 are 5 days old. I also had a buddy come by and we smoked some really good bud that had 1 seed in it. Well I germed it for the Hell of it and it has popped open! I'm sure it will be a female so I'm going to throw it in there with the others.

The girls are coming along nicely. It's been a week exactly and I'm super exited early on. I've NEVER had such young plants have such a strong smell. The OG smells like it's flowering! When I touch her my fingers literally smell like I've been breaking up bud. I've also heard this breeders OG grows fast but this is freaky. She's working on her first and second true set of leaves and already has internode growth coming in strong. I'm excited to scrog her!

The strawberry sour D is doing great also. Not as strong as the OG but it's there. She doesn't grow quite as fast as the Og but her structure is nice. I'm excited for this one also, mainly because it's more of my commercial stain as she will go outdoors to try to maximize yield but im hoping she'll be a customer pleaser as the OG is for my potential stash.

The bagseed is taking it's time. I dug it up twice because I was worried growth stopped but she's just slow. Finally popping above dirt but the outer seed is still attached but we'll see how that goes.

Sorry if not allot of updates or pics(ill post pics tomorrow) but I really just use this to keep up with grows myself. One day when I'm old I'll look back at all these pics and posts and think about how crazy prohibition was and the things I did to ensure I had quality smoke. When my grandson starts talking about how this bud is so good and this stuff from the store is incredible I'll sit him down one-day and talk to him about the good ole days when we were growing medical in our closets and basements before the gov decided to grow it and call it medical.

Girls are doing great. Going to have to implement some smell control. Tied the strawberry down because she was moving slow so hopefully more light to the lower leaves will help overall yield. Og doing great. Two or 3 days she's gonna be getting pulled under the screen and the official scrogging will begin.

You know I'm really surprised at the feedback from you guys this grow. There's usually allot of input but anywhoo...Due to a series of unfortunate events the strawberry sour D has died(r.I.p. She was a fine lady). But the OG presses on finally reaching through the makeshift screen. I know my screen could be tighter but I think I can get away with it. I think just opening up the canopy will help me get an even canopy. She is 8 Days into flower. Here she is lady's and gents.

The OG is doing great. I've been tucking and tucking away getting a pretty even canopy. I saw her first pistils yesterday so at least I'm sure she's a girl. She's on day 15 flowering. I have one question. She has used up most of her pot she's in. I can see roots at the bottom. Can I leave her in there to finish it will she kill herself? She's pretty much trained how I want so if I remove the screen and keep training her in a bigger pot would that be a better option?

Where the Hell are you people!?!? Lol anyways, the OG is doing great. She's perfectly green and I've managed to keep her under the screen. I'm trying a new method of uploads so I'm gonna try to put up some shrimp n grits made with some cannacocooil. TRead a delightful meal. Perfect comfort food that comforts you.

Yea maybe your right. I get caught up in my posts I really don't replY much. Hope that doesn't stop folks from checking out my lil lady though.

The sour D I was training completely sideways, like a upside down L. Well yew OG was towering over her so much I was afraid she wasn't going to get enough light to compete, do I tried to straighten her up and literally snapped her in half. I could've cried but now that I look at it there's no way she would've made it with the OG. It's pretty much filled the screen and I would have a tangled mess in there with 2 ladies.

Sowrey I forgot to post pics yesterday. I will def do tonight. Would do it now but she is asleep. Peace.

Dude I gotta say I agree with the previous commenter about that twine... it looks nasty and bitty and it looks like it's gonna get in your buds. While it's not too late, I would really recommend changing that to some nylon... otherwise I reckon you're gonna be smoking it

While I could replace it I'm just lazy. This grow was started with stuff laying around and the twine was just here so I won't be changing it because it's in the spirit of the grow. Plus the string is just basically lst'ing the OG. Eventually I will stop pulling them down and the tops will grow up past the string. The tops are the focus of this method so I doubt I'll have string in the final product but that's the fun part of sticking around because we will all see who's theories were right.
