I transplanted my OG into a bag!

A few "feedings" ago I noticed roots coming out of the bottom of the pot she was in. I figured that since she was in flower she wouldn't grow much more root mass and I would be okay. But then I noticed leaves at the bottom getting yellower and yellower so I knew she was rootbound. Since this grow was inspired by just getting by with what I had on hand, instead of running to buy another pot I decided just to mix up some soil and transplant the OG directly into the bag. I have to say she responded within 3 hours and looks to love her new home. I swear growth exploded in a few hours! (During the transplant I broke up the bottom of the rootball, I've read to leave it alone but I believe this is the best way to encourage the roots to explore their new home). Now I do consider myself very good at transplants seeing as how I usually start indoors and move out, but this was the biggest plant I've transplanted. Without further ado I give to you....

OG Kush day #31 flowering.

A comment on the soil: I used miracle grow's new organic mix, 50% soil 50% perlite. I usually add peat moss and would be feeding with at least molasses by now. But nope, I've added tap water the whole way and have had no deficiencies to date. Can't do a football judgement until the final product is tested but this seems to be a plug and play soil for anyone who isn't too particular about mixes and feeding.

Closing in on week 6 of flower. Nothing much to report just normal progress. I removed 2 cfls for 2 reasons. One being height of plant, this wss the main factor. The leaves were touching and even burned a little. The second reason is my temps have been below 80 and it's been extremely hot here so that's been a struggle. I want to stay under 80 hence the removal. Planning on trying to take her past 70 Days because from what I've researched OG gets its true knockout powers after 70 Days. Pics to come.

I like the drawing of the pot leaf on the back of your box. Gives her a little encouragement.

So ready for this OG to finish. Tomorrow is day 42 of flower and she's starting to put on more weight and frost up. She doesn't smell until you touch her which is weird. I plan on making bho from the trim, sugar leaves and underdeveloped lower buds. I'm going to freeze it and run it fresh because apparently the flavor is amazing. The potency should still be there so I'll dab on that until the buds are finished

20160727_194050.jpg 20160727_194101.jpg Random update. I was bored chilling and decided to spend some time on her today. Managed to tie everything down so I can get that third set of lights back in there. She's doing good, smelling good, and even smoking good! I took a small underdeveloped bud yesterday(big enough to roll a blunt with) and man she was smoking! Surprised the Hell out of me and my old lady. We waited till after dinner to smoke it and we're stuck to the couch, horny and hungry then sleep crept in. The high lasted over and hour with strong body tingling I loved it. I can't wait to get her down and partake in her. It'll at least be 62 days into flowering before I can even cut it but if I can hold out I wanna run to day 72.
