Canadian mj resorts?

And i was only saying i am aware of that jamaica trip i have a friend that went twice.
And my resort will not cost anywhere near a half million.
I love it when people call me a dreamer it motivates me even more.
I already have more than one investor willing to put in more cash than i need.

But u are free to think its a bad idea i guess.
I was just sick of every thread being about bitching about lps and how shitty our government is.

I probably should keep my ideas to myself

I told you get away from those damn shipping containers lol dont put the resort under ground either. I think a resort is a long shot, a dispensary/lounge would be good or even monthly event somewhere.

I know bigman u are against the shipping containers but i dont think i could build a cabin with any other material for the cost of a container.
It would be like telling a carpenter to build a stone home.
I almost bought an already existing resort two summers ago for 280k

I have no plan to bury anything for a resort.

No matter what you decide to do you wont be able to do it yourself.

Im curious, if you went a long with your idea what would put you apart from every other resort? i can vape at any resort i wish, ofcourse they want to see paper work but so would you. How would it work? would i pull up in my car, find a steel container i think looks good, clunk away trying to get the thing open then go inside and vape?

I like your ideas, trying to do something from nothing but this ones a bit off. Thats my un-biased opinion.

Ok first u need to forget about shipping containers looking the way they do.
This is 4 containers with cedar shingles.
Doesnt look so col and clunky anymore.
Now what makes it mj centric is being able to medicate anywhere on the property. On the beach, the hiking trails wherever.
No one judging or lookin down on anyone.
For alot of people i understand this is how u live but for alot of people we have to live out our lives as closet mj patients and have to be carefull about things.

The whole reason for this thread was to put out feelers and see if there would be worthwhile need and get feedback from everyone.
I appreciate and am open to all ideas.

I must say, that has me interested. If you could perform a task like that then i would be a customer. Shit if you can build that i might buy some land and hire you myself.

I can build that building with 4 containers for 10k not including the interior finishes, man thats what im saying.
Theres money to be made and smiles and memories to be had.

I have seen a few of these type of buildings...and they go up with relative ease....usually a day or two to set up the structure...once a solid system of support is in place.
Also if the area is remote and the, lot ...hard to reach...these containers can be lifted into place easily by crane,
and stacked with the help of a structural engineer..to determine welding points...and where door headers and openings
are required.
They also have usually wooden deck floors that can be sanded and used and have metal skid plates...too that can be worked into the buildings ambiance

I have worked on many of these containers at a former job.
Alot of construction sites use them as tool rooms and or offices.
We didnt even use a crane to stack em we just rented a boom truck.
Its the easiest quickest way to throw a building together that i know of.

There is also another movement going on...for the sake of things environmental ...its the " tiny house " movement...
there could be an area... of the resort...set up for tiny homes....that come for the weekend...or have tiny houses to rent...

Thats part of what im thinkin....

Aside from the one guy callin me a dreamer so far ive seen nothing but positive feedback im going to try my ass off to get this project going.
It would be awesome to get started if not up an running by next summer

MMj users can see the appeal is a small recreational set up...with eco friendly and
excentric...sorta balled together....
lots of us have medical issues....so can see the use for something compact and live able like a cabin or trailer...
for a weekend getaway

even a bed(pothead) and breakfast set up would probably work ....
all of you customers are there because the establishment is mmj friendly...
as far as an adult only concept...it would work easily....
