Canadian mj resorts?

So my buddy and i have been debating for a long time the idea of building a cottage resort in central ontario.
Recently the thought of helping people enjoy life has become more o a goal than profit at all costs.
So my question is do you guys think a cottage resort or bed and breakfast that caters to mj "patients" would work or am i out to lunch?
Because of the mj status in canada with all the laws in limbo the inly way to do it would be to only allows quests with current licences and paperwork. 18plus obviously.
But do you guys think patients would be willing to spend a little bit of money for the right to walk around a resort environment using mj out in the open?
We havent decided either multiple mini cabins for weekly rental or a bed and breakfast style nightly.
What kind of entertainment and activities?
I cant speak for my buddy but id rather make 100$ helping someone truly smile and enjoy themselves instead of making 1000 babysitting college kids

just make sure you have icefishing....lol for any muskoka or haliburton locations....
but ultimately you should be able to do this....at pretty much any resort....

Clevelands House Resort
Burn, drink beer on the golf course. Stay at the cottages they have there across the road on the course itself.

Oh I'm not saying they cater to it...just that it should be totally allowable...
"I mean a place for a week of r and r by the waterfront completely out of the mj closet."
That's my day to day set up...being I work from home too....I just wish it could have been for recreation reasons

I want it to be my day to day life as well.
I just want to share it with as many people as possible.
Im looking for ideas and such.
Im thinking 10acres with waterfront. Privare hiking trails. Beach area, docks, waterports, maybe a small man cave cabin with a big screen and pool table etc
Plenty to do indoors and out.

No way
Ive stayed at many resorts
Most of them dont even want u carrying a beer around. And thats understandable because most resort owners cater to families.
I mean a place for a week of r and r by the waerfront completely out of the mj closet.
Living on Van. Isle I'm a little spoiled in that mj is pretty much accepted everywhere...except private resorts. You're right that it comes down to being a family resort. One that catered to mmj patients might go over well. I don't think that you would need to keep it 18+, if a patient wanted to vacation with his/her family...? Also, I don't think you would be required to enforce licensed patients only...you aren't supplying the medicine.

No but i dont think any insurance company would consider insuring it and taking the risk of illegal activity.
Nor do i want negativity and police etc.

Torontoke's health and head shoppe.. right in the Leslie Frost Center,,,,At lake St Nora. in Haliburton/Muskoka.
The facility is owned by the Provincial gov...and has 25,000 hectare of crown lands and nature to play in....
Just a Thought..lol

cottage country stays are kind pricey all by themselves...before you specialize....
though...I'm sure where there a will there's a way...
you would have to get a pro....glass blower to do the work shop....to minimize any risk...he also expose's his/her work.

The average price for a decent lil cottage is 900-3000 depending on the location and finishes.
Id rather go less frills and actually charge as little as possible.
As long as the bills are paid. Profit isnt the goal at all.

I don't think you would run into much legal or insurance trouble. My grow is insured cuz the landlord required it. Pretty fair rate too. What you're describing sounds to me, from a legal point of view, like a very large and open vapor lounge. And we know there are quite a few of them insured and operating.
