Bridgelux Vero 29 LED Test

I'm planning to build a light and would love some advice on drivers/ power supply as I am unfamiliar with optimal set up for LEDs. My plan is to go seed(or clone) to harvest in a 3'x3' tent with just this.

My parts list so far:

4x BXRC-40E10K0-L-23 (vero 29 v2, 4000K, 80 CRI)

4x Arctic Alpine 11 Plus 92mm fan

4x Mean Well LPC-100-2100

1x Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound

1x kapton tape

My main question is, is there a way to drive all for from one driver and save money? Also, how do I wire this all up so I don't need 4 wall sockets at the end? I would like to keep each light separate so that I can adjust them separately.

So far my parts list totals about $300 and I'd like to keep it there.

Thanks!

I need help!

I plan on running 2x vero 29 v2 for vegging.

is there a cheap driver that will run these both? I saw the Mean Well LPC-100-2100 but can I just run 2 of them off it and run them at 50w each?

Vero 29 at 2.1 is tricky for driver consolidation. HLG-185 doesn't come in 2100 flavor and HLG-240 will only power 3 at 2.1 amps.

As for one plug you can wire all the drivers to a terminal strip or better, use wago222 connectors.

Look at the difference of intensity. The first photo is not everything. The second picture is a Chinese lens. The third photo is a reflector finland LEDIL.Fourth photo is Czech optics.Measured 50 cm from the top.light meter measuring only 550nm,you need to add another 20%-30% 650nm.Vero 29 3500K 2000mA Lumotech Drive

Either one. B series if you want external dimming. There's also LPC-150-1400 without dimming option but less cost.
How else would you dim them?

I'm buying different meanwells for Realstyles LED panel build with 8x CXB 3590s and he says to get the Meanwell HLG-185-C700A

How would you dim them without the external dimming if it's an A model?

Sannie's genetics grown with V29 (optic 360). The Jb x MS was vegged outside so I had to keep her stealthy and petite. She went exactly 8 weeks from observed flowers to chop. Flowering induced by daylength at 40°N. She has some sticky curves on her and nugs are rock hard.

The Sugar Punch was a beauty this strain is rightly well loved.

Just find a generic 100W driver (around 30$) and wire the cobs in parallel. Or find 2 generic 50W drivers (around 15$). Generally, you will get higher driver efficiencies on higher powered drivers.

Rahz,
Question on your comment. Which 240 will run 3 vero 29s at 2.1 amp?? When I look at them it appears to me that the highest max output of 57V with the hlg-240-54b. If the veros are running at ~37v then I'm looking for a driver with a max output of 111V correct? And being that they'd be running vero 29 @ 2.1 they should be emitting ~90w each correct? So I need a driver that has a max output of >111V and 270W?? Am thinking of building a couple of panels using veros as they're cheaper than the cxb's and easier to get. Not to mention pretty bright in their own right.

The Vero datasheets list popular drive currents and their values. At 2.1 amps they use 38 volts and draw just under 80 watts, so 3 can be wired to a HLG-240H-C2100.

Thanks for the response. Yah I saw when looking at the data sheet again that at 2.1 it's 80W. I know that too, as I have some A51 W90s. Those draw 90 total so I think that's where my mind was going. That's what happens when it's 4 in the morning and I'm far to gone while still ripping the gpen. For the life of me I couldn't come across the HLG-240-C2100.. Obviously it was right in front of me I was just too faded to see it. Thanks again.
