The root are really taking off now!! On the PJ any way. the WW clones aren't rooting as fast,,, if that's what they're doing.

First some PJ roots...

Now the WW, I'm hoping that these are roots that are taking a little longer to develope and not mold or something...

These are the new clones...

hey c, do you think those white cups might be letting some light get through? That slime almost looks like an algae trying to grow. Just a thought. And I see you trimmed the fan leaves back, that will should too. Nice set up if your silicone holds. I think I'd just run my air hose through a notch in the lid and skip the sightglass. With hardwood floors I can't risk any leaks.
So a regular aquarium pump puts out enough air huh? I'll have to try this, thx.

You're probably right about the light getting in. Especially the one with the smaller clones, since they aren't filled all the way with the hydroton. I'll be a making some covers tonight!
So far so good on the silicone holding. It's for indoor/outdoor use, and is waterproof. I'm thinking the same thing as you though. Next time there won't be any holes in it.
The pump holds up ok. I think I could do better, and probably will once I starting blowing bubbles in my flower room.
Thanks for taking the time to look thru slab!!

Throwing up some pics from last night. Wanted to show how well the PJ roots are forming, and ask if the WW are really rooting or what?!?!

In the first pic the 4 on the left are PJ, all rooting very well. The other 3 are WW and the 4th looks the same...

The WW a little closer...

The PJ...

Congrats on the successful cloning. I've never cloned before but it looks like the start of roots on the WW, not mold or anything. Good luck to you. subscribed

Thanks for good vibes!! I hope to see them start taking off soon. I was hoping to take them all out of the cloner at the same time.

The PJ clones are probably going to come out on Sat. If the WW doesn't root enough by then, I'll probably cover the other holes and leave them in.:peace:

The first batch of clones made their way to the dirt this weekend. The second batch is showing signs of roots.

Some pics of the transplant...

A PJ clone..

The WW were starting to root pretty good so they moved too.

A shot of the now crowded veg area. The clones are in 1 gal pots and will finish their lives there. Once they are 8-10 in they will go in to flower.

I do have plans to blow bubbles in the flower room too, just have to wait for the resources to become available..

I appreciate the help I've received!!

An update on the clones still bubbling..

We're 9 days in with them. And They all have roots starting. A few took a little longer to come around but they're here now.

A peak under the lid...

hey c, man you've inspired me to build a bubblebox for me clones. I'm liking those hydroton stones the more I learn about them too. Did you say you were using Superthrive? Looking good for 2010.

Thanks for your kind words slab!!! Very much appreciated!!!

Yes, plain water that I bubbled for 24 hrs before using and 1 drop of superthrive per gal. I really like the hydroton, very clean and easy to use.:peace:

You went from bubble newb to pro in a matter of days!! Good job bro! You might have mentioned this, but are you using any rooting hormone? Clonex or something like it could really help to speed up the process, and also prevent stem rot. If you did then just disregard.

Very nice grow. +rep.

Thanks Stgeneziz!! I thought about some rooting hormone. I do as much as I can on as little as I can, maybe next time. I don't know if I'm a pro yet, but I'm getting the hang of it. Thanks for your advise and kind words!:bigjoint:

Thought I would keep everybody updated. The second batch of clones is definitely doing better than the first. Here's a pic of them...

The roots are doing good. I might put them in dirt tomorrow, but probably Sunday...

Here is the clone that was the top of the WW plant. Very happy...

I am going to be flowering in bubbles. The MN is doing good, so I'm going to get another tub and keep the in it.:eyesmoke:
