Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Hey guys I have a question... I just germed an auto seed and I wanna throw it in under my 250w HPS. But Im currently using that 250 for 2 plants that are in their last 2 weeks or so of flower! I know the best schedule is 18/6 for the auto so my question is... If I switch the lights to 18/6 and put my auto in there... Will it affect my other 2 that are finishing flowering? I would think that its too late in their flowering to affect them in any way (maybe even benefit them somewhat). But I don't think it would throw them back into veg since they're so far along and its only gonna be for 2 weeks max! I just wanna get the schedule to 18/6 so I can start my auto's! Any feedback would help. Oh one last thing... What is the best soil to use? All I can get is MG and it feeds for 6 mths which is more than the plants expected life cycle, plus it can throw off my nute feedings! Is there a soil I can buy from let say Lowes or Home Depot where its just soil? And not have any of those added time release ferts? So that way I can add my own ferts! Maybe buy an organic soil and then be able to add my nutes to that? Thx in advance....

SUPER AUTO seeds (flash seeds)

Does anyone have any experience with Flash Seeds? To me, they're new. They're suppose to be creators of a super autoflowering strain. They claim there Annapurrna strain in 90-95 days will produce a 1.5-2.5 meter plant that yields between 1-200 grams per plant. They also have two more "super autos" Nirvana sky, which is 110-250 grams per plant in 100-110 days and grows up to 3 meters and Number One, which yields 1-200 per plant which takes 90-100 days and grows to about 2.5 meters. Does anyone have experience with any of these? Anyone hear anything about Flash Seeds?

or auto assasin by short stuff.

i wont top any auto flower. to me sense they have such a short veg, that your just taking away buds that would be growing. now my agfan ryder had a longer veg period and i could see topping one of those. those two bottom pic are the afgan, as you can see they are huge for autos. and with a longer veg gives it time to branch out.
cool cool, i'll just leave her be then. lst is cool though, right? i wanna keep her low.

safe!

Im currently using 'canna terra pro' soil for my auto ak-47's and have to say im very impressed. It's very light and airy, drains well and has helped my plants to grow rather nice and bushy in readiness for flowering :-)

With regard to two plants in the same pot id say no. It basically means the plants roots will likely combine and cause competition for food, which is not good. It also means that if you have a problem with one of the plants it makes it difficult to isolate the problem plant.

Whatever you decide, good luck with the grow - plenty of support here :-)

I cant help being left with the feeling that problems with MG occur when nutrients get locked out for whatever reason (eg ph too low or high). When they then get unlocked again, the high levels of nutes cause the problems. Provided you're careful with your ph, and dont suffer lockout then things work alright.

That's just an assumption im throwing out there though, fully prepared to be told im wrong lol ;-)

Heres one of my Aks morning of day 28 from sprout. Think I might get an ounce of a plant like this? They just really started flowering, I happened to measure last night when I got home and they were 7" tall and wide. The are 8"tall and wide this morning! Only got 2 females outa my 10 pack. And 1 Fem automaria the same size. My male AK I kept, is 12" tall and skinny, ditched the short fat one per your recomendations. Just started germin some flower powers.

So what soil CAN/SHOULD be used for autos's then? Cuz MG is a pain in the ass cuz of those time releas pellets! So is just plain ol topsoil the way to go? So then I can add my own nutes schedule as I want?

It has been exactly 1 week since my 4 auto short riders sprouted. They're in FFOF/perlite under 400w HPS when should I start adding nutes and what kind?
