businessmen, i would definitely be using that taller more advanced male.put onto your quickest flowering female.over time you will be able to bring the grow time down more.quicker harvests means more harvests per year, which means more buds which means more$$$$$.just my two cents.

hey man, i know this was a while back now but can i ask when and where (if) you topped these beauties? i'd really like to grow mine to about the same height, i think they're a similar strain.

businessman, I would agree with nimbin1, use the taller it is more mature than the shorter 1. After growing regulars in the '70s for a decade I managed to whittle the growing time down by 2-3 weeks. I use to harvest the last week of Aug. as opposed to the end of Sept. But those were regulars, the rule of thumb was to pollinate first female with the first male and you'd cut the harvesting time by 2-3 days every year. Hope this is the same for autos. These are my 2 cents, sorry, still an armchair auto'er.

From what I've heard, topping stunts the plants, and when you have small plants to begin with, you can't afford to stunt the growth any. That's why it's not good to transplant them either.

Please help, anyone and everyone! I have 4 auto assassins from Short Stuff growing. They are 20 days old and only an inch tall. Two of them have 3 full sets of nodes, obviously VERY close together.One of them just has the third starting and one of them only has 2 sets. They are nice and green and the stems are good and strong. They get plenty of light (18/6 on a timer) are in FF soil, and are getting FF grow big nutes. The mids and the WW clone I have seem to be thriving in the same conditions. Please excuse my language, but these little auto fuckers just wont grow! Anyone have any tips or opinions or comments? Or anything? Should I wait it out, or just trash these little fuckers and not use Short Stuff beans again?

probably stunted them somehow. Transplanting, too much nutes, too much water. etc

I had a BB Auto that did the same thing, 3 grew lovely and 1 was very small ( all in the same room! ) I'd just let them be for a while, you may find they'll be small but still a nice smoke

8/10 diesel ryder and 7/10 blue ryder have sprouted, i have them in cup sized pots atm, am i right in thinking to get them in bigger pots asap? im used to regulars but these are gonna be put outdoors when stable enough so am i best to put them in individual larger containers? or are they hardy enough to go in together?

What's happening? So it's my first auto grow, got 4 autoak47 going. I bought a ten pack of regs from lowlife. I'm going to try and do a seed harvest. If you guys dont mind, could you tell me at what week do the males start to drop pollen for collecting? 3 out of 4 were fems and I have 1 strong healthy looking male. My goal is to take the best fem outta the 3 and have a personal seed stock. peace

Here's my first auto grow. Custom made nft/drip system with Botanicare trays.
I started 10 Lowlife Auto AK47 Fem seeds, 1 Dinafem Fruit Auto, and one Easyryder.I ended up with 10 total plants, 8 AK47 and the easyryder and Fruit Auto. Out of the 8 AK47 there are 4 phenotypes, maybe 3, One I think is the standard phenotype, the way it's "suppose" to look. One that is christmas tree shaped that is spicy and is looking to be my favorite. And then there's the monster pheno, this bad boy is 33" tall at 37 days old. Fucker is shooting to the moon on me. The dinafem Fruit Auto pheno is just as big! They should be good producers! The bigger autos seem to be behind on the flowering compared to the smaller plants.

Looking good dude. Ive defo got 2 different types in the 3 lowlife auto ak's ive got on the go. A couple of the chritstmas trees I think, and one that's gonna be a tall one.

thanks bro! i never grown that strain. but auto flower is very easy to grow. just give them some loven, and they will be good to you.

thanks for the info bro! by the way how much watts does one plant need to grow strong buds if it's female because i live in a apartment an i want to see how strong the smell is so i am going to start with one but with out a grow box

so lowryders really need leaving alone? i was looking to create a sweet spot under my cfl. should i just leave her to grow naturally? the lowryders at the start of this tread would be a perfect size for me!

i wont top any auto flower. to me sense they have such a short veg, that your just taking away buds that would be growing. now my agfan ryder had a longer veg period and i could see topping one of those. those two bottom pic are the afgan, as you can see they are huge for autos. and with a longer veg gives it time to branch out.
