I use 4 24 watt 6500 cfls with a couple 4 42 watt 2700 cfls when flowers switch to 200 watt 2700 cfl

Afgan Kush Ryder?? My first time with this one, but it popped 2 days after the Easy Ryder and not only caught up, but is twice the size... Thing seems aggressive....

yes it was afgan kush rider . been waiting on them to start flowering. i started all mine at the same time. and my blue berry, lr2, and ak are almost done. these just started budding, and my male has a good amount of pods on him, these plant seem to have a 35-40 day veg time. and grew tall and bushy. just wondering how long for flower time. will see for sure.

just looking for some insight currently i have 9 lowryders at day 17 still no sign of sex but hopein for fems jus wondering on average how long it took lowryder originals to show sign and at what day is best for start fertillizeing

Hello auto realm, I was currently messing with seedlings and I started with just 2 under cfl's. One was much to close to the lights but the second sprout prevailed over my lame setup. After about 20 days or so she started flowering under 24/7. Can you say lucky bagseed, my first sprout didn't require a light cycle and is now on day 42 of flower and swelling nicely. I still have no clue what strain it could be but its very frosty.

I know this might start a flame war (hope it doesn't just expressing my opinion) But IMO Co2 is only really effective in closed environment agriculture (meaning a room with no in or out vents) Co2 is great to use but a waste if your room isn't tuned in good (no heat trouble, good ventilation etc..) Adding Co2 to a garden is one of the last things you should worry about (unless you have good equipment and control of your environment already.)
however if your one of the people that choose to grow your plants in a room that cant keep cool and is usually like over 85 degrees, that Co2 would help your plants breathe some more, but if your growing in a room like that you should be shot anyway thats plant abuse..

Thanks Jeff totaly understand , Me an a friend grew some reg. strain of black domain an sticky icky in a controlled area 9x6x7 an used co2 , It was a partner ship deal usin his basement with me payin half the comcrete some extra 1000wt hps bulps an seeds , Well I got screwed alittle on the deal an still had to give him 1000.00 qp , well I got a different location now but my room wont be controled by next week when I start ,lookin into this fixer up house to buy to fix over the next month that has a root celler in the baasement that goes under the back yard , hope to start next batch there after this one .an control the co2 in the root celler , A just work on sheetrocking an remodling it while the crops our goin under ground .

From dope-seeds.com , I`ve done bougth 2 Magnum xxxl hoods , an was going out to home depot to get about 40 30 gal. buckets today , bouchin back an forth on 1000wt hps or 400 wt hps for my hoods any in-put on that ? I`ve got a 400wt hps switchable ballast an bulp in a econ-wing my wife is usin on her tomatos an flowers untill its warm egouht to move them to the outside garden , So that would be one less bulb an ballast I would have to buy if I went 400wt ? I`m using Pro-Mix bx meduim , the 10 purple jems I was goin to spread outside in pairs since there a mixed pack that way if lucky I pollanate 1 female if they pair as male an fe-male an rip the rest of the males , doin in 5 different locations . Any input or better ideals would help thanks dudes great info an input . I`m sure I will have more questions an pictures as things move forward .

600 watt hps lamps are your best bet overall, they get the most lumens per watt. If your are going to use 2 hoods, I would go with 2 600 watt lights rather than 400 watts, and if you can control the temps, go with the 2 1000 watt lights. You would be pushing almost 300,000 lumens, but it would need some good cool air constantly to keep the room at proper temps.

Yah that sounds good I agree, for the cooling I have a cheap solution. I know some ppl are embarrassed to check them out and stuff but go to "Good will" places I bought 3 window unit air conditioners, nice ones ( using 1 keeping the other 2 for back-ups, a lil dirty but they cleaned up nicely) and they work fantastic for $40 a pop, you cant beat that it. Dont even have to use dehumidifier it stays a nice 40-44% on its own
, Just cut a hole in the wall to put it in and we're good to go. Good Will is also a great place for fans as well. Hope thats help a little

Only 1? If so do you plan to get more? a few more would be good, your ladies are looking thick already the extra cfl's will help get light to the areas the one above cannot. But lookin good so far

I've been using Fox Farm hydro nutrients, running Big Bloom at about 1/2 str. No signs of sex yet though.

Well I think you need to go sit down with them and have a "stern" talk about what they need to be doing right now. They just need a little push

I think they lost some time due to lack of food at the beginning, so I'm not stressing it just yet. Think I started 'em too light too late and they might have gotten a bit stressed.This is only my second grow (first one ended up with males), and first with autoflowers so I'm still trying to sort out the right feeding schedule. Especially since I've had a hell of a hard time finding much information pertaining to autos and DWC.
Thanks for the welcome too! Been lurking for quite some time...long enough to read pretty much this whole thread at least..haha
