Now he knows numbers I like his stuff even better now!
I'd hope so lol, his company just hit the million dollar mark!

:P

@Eraserhead

I'm no business expert and do not understand the proper logistics behind storing ready-made fixtures at various warehouses. I suppose these warehouses you mention are like the many storage units one may see when traveling through cities but maybe with people looking after them and more?

And you are?

Let me do the math for you. I'll even number it for you.
1) As described on the website, housing cases and heat sinks are made in China.
2) Housing cases and heat sinks are sent to the USA via ocean freight at a cost per $2.75 per 1 housing case and 1 heat sink set.
3) Assembly is done in the USA
4) Finished products are shipped to 2 places, Niles, Michigan at a cost of $8 per finished unit via FedEx. The other is back to China at a cost of $4.50 per finished unit via ocean freight.
5) It costs on average to ship a lamp to anywhere USA based, about $22.50usd per finished 1 lamp.
6) It costs on average to ship a light to the UK or Australia from the USA, about $105usd per 1 lamp.
7) It costs on average to ship a lamp from China to Australia or the UK about $75usd per lamp.

8 ) Parts from China to USA = $2.75 + back to China as finished lamp $4.50 + shipping to AU or UK $75 from China = $82.25USD
9) Total cost to ship to AU or UK from the USA: Parts from China to USA $2.75 + Niles, Michigan at a cost of $8 per finished unit via FedEx +$105 shipping from the USA to AU or UK $105, total $115.75, vs. $82.25 from China $33.50USD cheaper overall.

Do any of you as customers want to pay an extra $33.50 for anything, if you don't have to, especially if you're getting the same exact thing anyways, in pretty much the same amount of time??

Anything else?

Then why have them shipped to America to be "assembled" in the first place? Why not just have the ones for foreign markets assembled in China?

I do find it intriguing that these SGS models haven't been offered, to the best of my knowledge, for some time (it's been strictly RW for awhile) and now are being offered for sale by the fours... from Hong Kong.

Lol i work in America and it's not much plus China makes quality crap too
I thought this was a pretty good one.

O you work in america? Saweeeet! ME tooooo! Wish I didn't, you know, since all the money is from the federal Reserve loaned to the government for bonds+interest, if we paid back every single dollar every has, there would still be original debt not to mention other countries digging us out. Anyways...

I would say our QC is significantly better than none at all and is probably worth the investment instead of unhappy customers.

What's your argument if China makes Crappy stuff? I am thankful they assemble it here, if not themselves.

Nah dude, doesn't matter. They'll still know it's me by my shipping address and name and see that I have another account that's frozen and freeze the new one too.

The one that's frozen now is a brand new account I just opened yesterday... but I'm not willing to verify my identify by giving them all that information. I'm thinking maybe if I use a VPN, a prepaid visa card and have it shipped to my mom's house it'll go through.
Prepaid Visas don't work overseas. Unless you give them photo ID, SS number.Wouldn't you expect Paypal to be positive of your identity before disbursing funds in your name?

I'm curious, how does one verify something was TRULY made in a given country? This is a general question and is not targeted at Area 51 or Jeff, this is merely something that struck me.

not much QC there let alone other laws that are being neglected and where is OSHA ive been workinng for 8 years ive never met an official inspector this is on AMERICAN soil
OSHA only fucks with top $ companies. I tried contacting them over a screen printing company I worked at who always dumped chemicals down the drain and followed zero OSHA regulations, they straight told me nobody cares because the company would not be able to pay the fines anyway. I also had family members that worked for Dodge and they would tell me about people getting busted smoking crack in the bathrooms, so yeah America has great quality control and really cares about its labor force.

Lol no I think we got way off target that's my bad. I'm all about self sustainability. I wish I didn't require money to give my wife and kid what they want. Because eventually this whole system is gonna come crashing and they are gonna force physical labor on us to pay off the debt they stuck us in with the system they implemented. Knowing Damn well it was gonna backfire. All my large purchases will be up front, no loans anymore. After the house is paid off of course.

Ever seen zeitgeist series?

To me, only certain aspects are worth sending over seas, some needs to be done here. Personally, I like to be there when stuff is assembled.

If you think you can do a better job running a company, step up and do it. Otherwise, be quiet.

I slept until 3pm today and made almost $2500 before I woke up. What did you do today?

Because I was making plenty money selling newer stuff, it didn't cross my mind until my lease was coming to a close that I needed to get rid of these last ones.

Set them up and I'll knock them down.
