Moab may work well. But its not organic at all. Unless the buds and leaves are completely white when done. The chems will still be there.. I know gg said full organic will be next run. my biggest buds were using a combo of crab meal, fish meal, soft rock phophate, neem meal, kelp meal and rock dust. With compost teas, kelp teas, botanical teas and seed sprout teas. I just used up the last of the dte vegan mix. If that doesn't work out this round. I'm going back to the old regiment ^^^^

Both are looking really nice in the pics the HPS looks a little fatter but the led looks like its made more colas shooting up overall ?
also the hps looks like a little yellowing on the leaves
but the led looks greener is this just the hps light making it look a little yellow?
or does the hps side have a little bit of heat damage or yellowing on the leaves

great thread to watch :)

@Greengenes707 watching the side by side shows me apache is the leader in led. even to replace my 600 hps it will easy. Heat oh man heat costs allot to cool. So i need to save 2k form my next 4 plants and buy at600. I could run that in summer easy.
I think they are. Cooling is an issue I am now facing this new room more than ever. My old places had high ceilings and weren't as insulated. With my setup now it was designed for led's...with the hps in there it is a struggle and in the true summer months even how I have it now, half/half won't stay cool enough without a dreaded AC. I hate using a bunch of watts to change the temps, up or down, and so with led's I can keep it much more controlled with out an AC or heater in this insulated room. Their operating temps fit well with my setup.

Knew you were going to come in with this. Since I resorted to maxsea, which the all purpose has a good amount of urea, I will also use MOAB. True organics is for next round. I have MOAB and this will probably be my last chase to use it and see if I think it does anything. We will see. It's not poison...just synthetically derived.
Can you explain exactly how it is bad for me to use. What about synthetics is actually bad??...both for me as a human smoking it and for my soil...like micro life?

The LED's have more colas...but not as large
Hps has bigger but less.

The fading I just mentioned couple post ago. You probably missed behind all your photos
Just ever so slightly(fading) on the led side. They just needed a little boost a week or so ago.
The hps has been struggling with staying green. I have it back on track now, but they started a little early.
I never really feed them any grow...soil got them pretty far. Then they just burned through all the N at the beginning of flower. So just a week or 2 ago I gave them so grow and they have steadied out. Some of the fans like the one you saw in the pic is a little yellow still but the plants as a whole have pulled back into good health.

yeah my ac kicks on aobut 20 minutes an hr. it always moves air but the ac part kicks on. this is why im gonna harvest all shut down till mid aug and then start veg up so in oct ill have cooler temps and can run the lights cheaper with no ac. I do need a big led. lets hope i can come up with 2k.

the 90f canopy temps i recall watching in the vid may have something to do with it
what are your outside temps at the moment

sorry if you have already stated this somewhere else
i shall re-read the thread from start to finish so i do not miss anything again
its worth it :)

.

Synthetics are still chems. ie man made... Unhealthy for your body. Long term effects include respiratory issues, cancer, epilepsy, death... You absorb those chemicals when you smoke. Moab also has nickel, lead and trace amounts of cadmium, arsenic and mercury. Keep in mind 99% of bottled nutes do not list all ingredients on the label. You have to check with the state department of agriculture. They have to register and disclose ingredients of products with each state to be able to sell them legally. Moab is registered under SOUTH COAST HORTICULTURAL SUPPLY INC.

The only 100% natural organic nutes in a bottle are liquid karma from botanicare and the whole dragon fly earth medicine line. everything else has chems...

Plus using moab causes phos and potassium abuse to the plant. Cuts down on quality, flavor, and resin production. If you want that extra bump. Top dress kelp meal and kelp teas every now and then.. Kelp meal is a great nutrient accumulator.

the down to earth dry nutes are very good . You should really start a worm bin or a few of them.. Homemade vermicompost is the cornerstone of rols and organics. There isn't anything better. You can feed dry nutes to the worms too. On top of the nutes and bennies in vc . It works as agreat mulch. I top dressed my plants the other day with my vc. Now I'm back to watering every 4 days instead every other day.

Don't heavy metals make it taste better? hehe jk

I am just trying things out to see what they do. That blue dream has had so many issues that I am not very concerned about how she turns out. I have a backup and now hopefully a few clones. It really did make a difference in the frost production and the color of the cola leaves. I am trying to stop using bat guano for phos. I will try the kelp meal I have. Is it better to mix it in the soil or to brew and add as a tea?

kelp is good both ways. Soft rock phosphate and crab meal are also a good source of phos among other things... Aside from the environmental and health issues with using guano, imo guano makes the smoke more harsh.

The hps side is a bit ahead i see. But the led is holding on strong. I am really liking that at600.

they are close but the hps is a little fatter. but doesnt matter till its harvest and seeing yield vs yield/smoke vs smoke. Ive heard this has never been said to me "Size dont matter" well it does to a point. im just loving this light vs light grow.

How would you say the density Between them feels? I'm just curious if the higher heat on the hps side made them a bit more fluffier and not as compact hence why they look fatter. Both sides looking really awesome tho. I'm probably almost as excited as you to see the end results
