Any Canadian Growers?

What are the best plants you folks have grown outdoors? Early finishers? Low smell? Good yield?
Cheese Auto XXL from Dinafem seeds, it get's you fucked and yields very big. The only downfall for you I think is the smell, it fucking stinks until it's all dry and I mean stinks. I would have to say the strongest smelling strain I have tried for sure, and I'm counting the Kush too. Cheese Auto XXL is a cross of Master Kush and Skunk with a lil bit of ruderallis in it for the autoflowering, however it doesn't start flowering for about 30 to 35 days and finishes in 80-85 days from seed with well over a QP per plant.

I have only good things to say about herbies, hemp depot, and bc seedking. All three deliver no worries. Dr. greenthumb sent my order to me in good stealth as well. The only one not in Canada is herbies. If you're in Australia or NZ, herbies is the company to use for ordering seeds. Dr. greenthumb too.

I was curious if anyone else found that their plants were taking longer this year to start flowering? I know that get's thrown around alot by noobies but this year I only had tiny bud sites going into September, which is atleast 7-10 days behind what I'm used to.

Would anyone like to chime in about using Geo pots outdoors? Has anyone tried them outside?
I'm Ontario 44th parallel, first time trying these Geopots, tried 3 in 7 gal pots, going 2 plants in 15 or 20 gal next year. They love these pots. Dry out faster but rain has been good so no big deal. 3 plants, taking about 3,5' D x 9' L x 43.5' H. The air going through them seems to help, even outdoor.

No mine all started flowering earlier but they're taking longer to finish.

I've heard both good and bad stories about bcbuddepot. I would beleive many strains are capable of 3 lbs + but I would never expect to achieve that. Most average growers can usually pull 1/4-1/2lb easy. And the odd one yielding 1lb.

Thanks BC I was looking at Pinewarp already but had some concerns about the
Yield rating- can it really produce 3pounds??? Saw the Vancouver bank had seeds - F4 I think. How was the mold resistance? I started a White Domina inside and finished early out side in a 5 gallon bucket but had some mold right at the finish. It was insanely humid and wet at the time with high temps. She was pretty good smoke though - not hit you in face with with a brick but really good relaxing buzz that didn't put you to sleep. Her buds fattened nicely at the finish though. You read horror stories about BC Bud Depot has anyone had any issues? I like ordering seeds in Canada, less customs issues.

Wow. Thanks for showing me those griz pics and also those GEO pots are something I really want to try next summer outdoors. I bought the oregon 40 volt self sharpening chainsaw and I love it. I only mention it because it's not as loud as a regular fueled chainsaw and it cuts fallen logs really well in case you need to build a fence in the deep bush or build a drying shack, or a bench to put your GEO pots on. I fit it in my backpack and hike it in when I need it. I agree with the bud sites only starting in the beginning of september but I thought that would be because of the strain I bought. I checked on my best iranian haze today and they are showing the formation of buds. They may just make it befote the end of September but that's weather dependent. Lots of branches and they're at seven feet in height I'd say. It's great if we can help each other out by talking about what strains are working for us in this country. I am curious if anyone grows out in newfoundland or nova scotia, cape breton or prince edward island. Those guys get short summers so they'd appreciate knowing what's ready to harvest first week in september or the second at the latest. And here in BC I'm sure many other people want to hear that info too.

Hey Dr. Tomb, yes I mean regular black growbags about a dollar a piece at the local hydro store in Sudbury. Yeah I'm running Feminized Super Lemon Haze for the second time and I love it, last year it finished in early October and was awesome. I ordered my seeds from Single Marijuana Seeds Canada second year in a row and no prob making it over the border, once it came open but no probs. The seed runs me about $13 dollars a piece but it's worth it for sure, I love it and it gets you fucked up.
I've used this company also, no issues. I used attitude seeds on my last order, if you wait until the deal of the month they throw in like 10 free random seeds... Here are my next years indoor strains... FYI the ones in the clear bags are freebies.. Although if I had ordered 1hr later(deal of the month) I would have got those plus 5 or so more freebies, just my mistake.

Thanks Codster. Smell is a concern, I had a sit a clone that was some kind of skunk that smelled the whole neighborhood in humid weather and don't want to go down that road again. Time and yield sound great, way better than the Think Different Auto I grew.

I'm in New Brunswick, same climate only maybe a little shorter in some parts of the province. My ladies started around the 19th of August which seems later than last year but I am growing different strains. I am praying we have a somewhat dry fall to avoid the ever present mold battle.

Yes exactly, I am hopefull for the same thing. Who knows maybe the plants sense a mild fall and aren't in a rush to get er Done.

I've heard from a few people in ontario and I'm finding the same thing, a little slow to get into full flowering mode this year. imo it's we haven't had many cool nights yet here. Like last night it was around 18, tonight they're calling for 20's overnight. Next week looks like it's going to cool down a bit, those 10 degree or below nights usually kick-start them and they always seem to catch up in the end.

fatburt, what strains are those in beside or in front of the house? If those are iranian haze or Iranian Og kush they are much thicker and wider than mine. You knew what you were doing obviously! I've a lot to learn.

fatburt, what strain is behind your 4 wheeler? Can you get it in a feminized form and will it finish in a Canadian summer? They look amazing in their veg state.
