doesn't say anything about it being premeditated. what if they were just sitting there drinking some beers and suddenly decide that blacks are not welcome in their bar of choice?Being known white supremacists, the aforementioned assault was obviously premeditated. So yeah, worse penalty. It's not the motive, it's their actions. I hate canned peas. Should I be punished worse than someone who doesn't if I beat up the guy who's restocking them?
should these two be punished just the same as someone who commits assault and battery on someone who spits on their girlfriend, or should they face a more severe punishment?
is beating a black person for being black more heinous, less heinous, or just as heinous as beating someone for spitting on your girlfriend?
