Do you still have her tied down? I am just starting my first grow and first LST and just wondering if you tie her down for a while then untie and let them go or do you keep them tied down the whole time while continuously tieing down other branches as you go?

I keep her tied down the whole time...I actually bent one of the bud site over yesterday to give light to another site that was creeping up from below. I leave the ties on the whole time, all the way up to the harvest date. I rarely add more ties once the bud sites start to get bigger tho.

following this baby all the way....

Just got two fem. Afghan Skunk in the door today for my first grow and had a lil search for an afghan skunk grow and boom...

I have a similar grow room size to you too,

Your girl looks the biz... keep the pics coming
Thanks man, yea I googled alot before starting this grow and didn't find any good pics/posts for afghan skunk either. I have to say, from what I've noticed so far, that she grows very fast and very bushy and can tollerate pretty high temps, so It's a great strain to start growing with...good luck with your grow bro!

more pics tomorrow...gotta raise the 125 watter up a little as well, a few of the shoots are just about to touch the bulb...I like to leave about 1-2 inches between the bulb and the plant in general!

Looking real nice pal. I'm growing CFL myself and I'm wondering why you decided to
go this route as its not the path most traveled. For 1 plant it seems like a boat load of light, how much would you consider using for light if you were to do this again under minimal light yet still feel like you would be producing a healthy grow?

keep up the great work!

I grew 2 plants under the same amount of light last time and got about 4 oz, but the plants were really crowded and the quality wasn't as good as what I wanted...so this time I decided to just try 1 plant and see how it goes, guess thats the only reason. I'm only growing for fun!

Hey man, your grow is looking unreal, ive finished four cfls grows and theyve all been fairly succesfull, every grow ive done has been two plants at a time under the same amount of watts you have but with all 26 watts cfls, after seeeeing how healthy and bushy yours is looking i think i might try just one at a time as i always had problems with keeping the bottoms of the plants as big and healthy as the tops, ive always done it with a layer of cfls horizontal at the top of the plant but ow im thinking if i stuck with that and added a good amount of side lighting around the plants i might be able to get my yields more succesfull. Anyways good luck and i cant wait to see how nice the crops gonna be!!

Dude your plant is a monster, ill keep updated on ur grow cause my baby and your baby have an almost identical structure. I have barely 200 watts for her, so it will be interesting to see the result of both our grows to see if i fucked up and should of put more lighting.

Yea man, I usually grow 2 plants in the same space...but I figured I can get nicer tighter buds with more light on one plant, well the same amount of light but one less plant (you kno what I mean).

Day 53 total, Day 23 flower...like many have stated earlier, she has officailly reached bush status! 3 weeks and a few days into flower now, she sucked down a few of her fan leaves so I've been giving here nutes on the regular now. Also, the first burst of trichomes have begun to come in...if you look close at some of the pics you can see! Let me kno what you all think, PEACE!

Day 56 total, Day 26 flower...She's growing so fast! The bud sites are all pumping out crystals, and things are getting frosty. Have quite a few fan leaves yellowing up, so I'll be giving her some nutes tomorrow. I've included some pictures of the main stalk just so you all can check out her crazy angles from the LST job. Also, for my previous grows I would always trim the little "popcorn" buds below the larger canopy...however, this time I'm not going to trim anything at all, mainly just to see how things turn out in the end (figure it'll be less stressful for the plant as well).
