Growing outdoors is growing naturally under the sun, no induce flowering, nature just takes it course. Whenever your sunlight hours peaks out for the summer and starts going down is when flowering usually induces. Early july/August is when you start seeing nice preflowers from what I've experienced in the High Desert. If your in a rush to get a harvest, indicas finish up a lot earlier, but make sure your well above the 12.5 hour mark before even consider throwing an indica out.
Ya I'm in Ireland doh so it's a bit tricky

*******Update 02/15/16*******

Checked on them this morning, all of the 13 seeds out of 15 total I germinated have sprouted through the soil.

The 5 mazars in the pots are all sprouted, and the 4x/4x Fant. and Mazars have as well sprouted in the garden bed.

I had an extra 2 seeds that I germinated and showed roots a day later then the others and popped them randomly along the side of the garden beds, those two have yet to sprout.

I am not calling this "Day One", probably tomorrow since they have barely sprouted.

Not sure on your environmental conditions, but I ran a few different areas of Ireland on timeanddate.com to get an idea of how many hours you get.

Looks like you get a LOOT of sun during the summer haha. Its easy though bro, if you have a ton of soil to grow in then start now, but if you only plan on using 50 gallons of soil then starting in April should be just fine. As soon as those hours peak out around july is when they should go into flowering and depending on the genetics you could get an idea of when you should be expecting a harvest.

Do u already have your nutes? Please don't say General Hydroponics. .. Few know they're owned by Monsanto & Scotts. They openly hate cannabis growers, yet helped Uruguay's Govt program
For this grow yes, I don't use bottled nutes though, I just go with raw materials and amend a soil and feed them teas as needed.

Organics is the way to go outdoors, theres a place for bottled nutes and it is not outdoors.

Probably next year or two years from now I plan on getting into ROLS.

*********Day 14 Update 03/1/16**********

Today is Day 14, and the ladies have just started growin a bit faster a few days ago now. I started treating them with neem last night and plan on doing it every 3-4 days for the next 3 weeks.

Just watered them this morning and here are some pictures.

Last minute I decided to actually do a full grow besides the autos. I'm going to be focused on this grow journal and I will periodically give small updates here of my non auto grow.

I ordered 10x blue dreams from humboldt organizations and got 3 freebies. I really love how they packaged the Blue dreams.

I just mixed up 300 gallons of soil yesterday and it's gonna be cooking for the next few weeks and I will start 6 plants at the end of March.

Thanks for following along guys, I'll have another auto update comin within the next few days!

-------EDIT--------
Forgot to mention, I placed the order for these seeds through gorilla, on February 25th when they were out of stock of the blue dreams. They emailed me immediately and offered a free upgrade to a blueberry twist, which I declined. Other then that, customer service s was great, overall shipping was faster than most places, I think 9-10 days from when they shipped and I am in SoCal. They were also the cheapest blue dream seeds you can find in other banks. Great company, would definitely recommend them.

I'll be watching. My autos are almost two weeks behind yours. I'm also doing hso bluedream.
Happy to have you! What auto strains are you growing? I just started doing a bit of LST on a few last night and I've hit them with neem about 3 times now. I plan on posting an update sometime in the next few days.

Have your grown hso blue dream in the past?

*********Day 22 03/09/16*********

Little update, I've started to LST a couple of them and the side nodes have really started taking off compared to the ones that I have not done anything to yet.

I've only been training them for like 2 days now and I plan on letting at least one of every strain to just grow naturally, since I have never trained autos I'm curious on rather or not the yield will be a huge difference, which I imagine it will be. Thanks to everyone following along so far!

Wow. Not to be a dweeb, but I would think with a decent soil/medium with good nutes & lights, your auto's that are over a quarter way til harvest should be way bigger. Or more leaves. Something. They look under a week old. Just saying

Believe me, the soil is great and is very rich with nutes. This is outdoors and the sunlight hours are still hovering right around 11hr 50m, so that may be a reason why they are sort of small.

I could agree that they do seem a bit small, but then again they're barely 3 weeks old, and I would say have atleast 2-3 weeks left of vigirous veg before any preflowers show. The strains I'm growing, I've seen people grow them out to 100 days, so just kick back and lets see what happens :blsmoke:

Awesome! What strains do you plan on growing? I gotta few fantasamo expressos from mephisto genetics as freebies which I'm growing.

I guess mephisto genetics are great auto genetics and they have some amazing sounding strains, check em out!

*********Day 28 03/15/16********

I've had a pretty bad last week of weather with lots of rain and unfortunately I have a really cheap greenhouse that drips water directly onto my raised bed.

Good news though, it hasn't really affected them too much and growth has really tooken off now, no sign of preflowers yet either so I have atleast a few more weeks of veg left I hope.
