I like the h150 and two h350s i have, but i am looking at building one. I could bang out a proper light and it would be exactly what i want.

My last grow was a single tree in a 5 gallon bucket. I had two H350's alone on it and it was dense sticky and oh so fruity. I am now gonna try a Sativa and a OG Kush with the same two lights and 3 H150'sas supplimental light. I do see how I can could have a Blackdog or better panel with the $850 Ive spent on Kessils. However they are quality, just not brute force. They are still a good investment. So now I may just add a small panel like a solar flare 440 or Blackdog Micro if I up my grow to 4 girls.
I just got a 440 so far very good.

I like the idea of Kessils and am not opposed to buying some if and when I have to return the LED lights I am currently using for veg. I'd like to buy a couple H350s and hang them in my 2x4 veg space. It would be quite a challenge and probably quite costly for me to flower using Kessil lights since I flower in a vertical room but for veg, I think the LED lights are hard to beat. I think Kessil brings the quality over a lot of panels out there too. Most are cheap, made in china, lights that have been rebranded and sold with high profit margins. These guys are not working off of quantity. The panels could be sold much cheaper than they are, IMO. I believe the Kessil lights could be cheaper too but I'm willing to pay a little more to buy from an American based company since I live here. Warranty means a lot to me.

Some of the LED panels, like the solar storm and soar flare lights, are still priced too high ,imo. I think the technology has come down in price enough for it to be time for better pricing for LED panels. It's just my opinion though.

Hell, People are building DIY LED lights that smoke some of the panels and fixtures you can buy now. And, for a lot less money. SomeGuy has built some bitchin white LED fixtures and they're kicking ass right now. He's got the wattage he was looking for and got it for about what a couple of cheap panels would have cost him.

I think we could build a cool tube replacement LED. Look in the six Dez. I just posted a 1 week flower comparison. Wife says if yield is close to gpw that I should do another tent identical and turn the cabinet into veg. All LED.

Yeah I have thought about drawing something up for a vertical LED fixture. My room is 5' in diameter so the lights won't be very close to the plants. I know it's fine for veg but wasn't sure about flowering. Figured I'd watch yours and see how far away you keep yours for this first run and see how it turns out.

I'm using you bro, as my guinea pig, lol.

Thats ok. Thats why I am documenting. I have to say... the growth is off the hook as you can see. At this point I have to let it all just go vertical. I need to know my true draw at the plug so I can have a GPW goal to look at. :-)

My verdict is out. Kessil H350 runs hotter than H150's. I had 3 H150's going in my tent. With purple, blue, and red temps were 77. When I removed two of the H150's and added one H350 temps rose to 82! Took out the H350 and put back in the H150's, and temps dropped back down to 77. Not a big deal just an observation.

Mo. You should really just do a couple cobs in there with what you have. Its not hard. We can have a "build party" LOL.

That is my first indoor grow from 3 years ago. I have the Kessil spinner now. Although I have been toying with the idea of hanging heatsinked cobs from the spinner :)
