I saw some H350s for cheap on ebay.

I just scored a lightly used purple h150 for $60 shipped on Ebay

You save $50 per light if you buy 4 magenta h150's to flower. All Red or Blue, are overpriced. $100 new is the going rate for the purple or magenta h150's! There are many advantages to led spot lights over panels

Score! You should get your hands on some H350s. They run much cooler than the H150s.

I was wondering if the 350 ran hotter or cooler than the 150, I know it has a better heat sink & fan

I have a Deep Purple and Magenta H350. I also have the H150 in each color. I notice that the temp rises a couple degrees when you add a H150. Do you think the H350 is that much cooler? The H350 seemed to add a little more heat than the H150 to me.

I have not performed a side by side yet but my clone cab is way hotter with the H150 running. The H150 is almost too hot to touch.

What do you think of the new H380? I am disappointed that it is it only a hair more powerful than the H350. Switching from purple to magenta is hardly an innovation either. I would have been more impressed if they put out an all Red, and all Blue H350 instead. I will need 2 more H350's in the future, and would opt to save the extra cash over H380's, as H350's are $50 less, and will likely get cheaper.

That is what I am thinking too. Two more magenta and two more deep purples.

I would have liked them to see it more like 200 watts. Then i could hook my led cab with 3 of them and be right where i want to be in there.

Yes Kessil totally failed to innovate, after all this waiting for an upgrade. A more powerful light is clearly what I wanted as customer. And I dont consider a 20 percent more powerful light acceptable. A 200 watt light would have been an upgrade! 20 percent more powerful and a switchable color left me disappointed. The only way Id want a 380 is if I didnt already have a couple 350's. I will add two more 350 magentas and get them for 50 less than a 380 if I buy them new, or even less if I buy them used on ebay.

Ok it finished. I must admit in the beginning it was a slow go. Buds were very light in the beginning. These were all autos. I never drew Gnomo before. The Gnomo and the Think Different grew to 40-48 inches in plant height. The others are normally very short. And like always I did not trust the LEDs. So I pulled the Paki and the Syrup and finished those under T5. I left the Gnomo and T-D. The last 3 weeks the Gnome and TD fattened up. 2- 21/2 oz on each when done. The penetration of these really surprised me. No popcorn. Small buds were golf ball size. It is good enough for me. Only issues was Cal-Mag. Had to use a lot. Finished in 90 days. Smoke was as good as HID.

Kessil gooseneck question? How do I mount this thing to the pole? I have a gorilla grow tent and the poles are a little thicker than the cheapie tents I guess. When I open up the side of the gooseneck that attaches to the tent pole with my allen wrench, the pole's circumferences is too big to wrap the gooseneck pieces around and get the two screws back in! Is there anything thinner I can stick in my tent to mount the gooseneck to? There is no problem getting the h150 attached to the other end properly

What about 1/2" electrical conduit. I think the clamps should fit with those if they work on most tents. I don't own one though so can't say for sure.

Why do people HATE on Kessil so much? Just got into it with a guy that called them total shit! Yet he was a dealer selling them on Ebay? Said he's been growing 16 years and has the best primo using a combo of HPS and a California Lightworks 880. I guess a $1700 LED would outperform my Kessils. But to call them garbage and to say they dont penertrate worth a crap, I thought was extreme. Who here is doing ALL Kessil grows and what are your results? I am a newb yes and only have four grows. However, my last Blueberry grown with two H350's was dank, tasty, and a great yield I thought!

The only reason I DONT have kessil is because for that price tag I could have a 75 watt a-51 or some other panel that is going to put out better PAR than 1 of the 350s....you need multiple kessils but at the price, you could get panels that are MUCH more powerful. That's the only thing that I don't like about them lol

My last grow was a single tree in a 5 gallon bucket. I had two H350's alone on it and it was dense sticky and oh so fruity. I am now gonna try a Sativa and a OG Kush with the same two lights and 3 H150'sas supplimental light. I do see how I can could have a Blackdog or better panel with the $850 Ive spent on Kessils. However they are quality, just not brute force. They are still a good investment. So now I may just add a small panel like a solar flare 440 or Blackdog Micro if I up my grow to 4 girls.
