So I'm jumping in on this one a bit late, but I read through the whole thing.

First off - Great job!

Second, I didn't see this one addressed - The limb you accidentally tore off, did it ever take root and survive? I know you said you lost your clones at some point, but had it survived up until then?

I'm extremely impressed with the performance of those cfl's especially since you only used 3 of em. Or was it 4 eventually? I plan on setting up a CFL grow and had been tossing my own ideas around in my head. I'm definitely going to be stealing a bit from what you've got here. Great grow and can't wait to see it finished out.

I don't measure out any of my nutes etc I just kind of eyeball all of it. As I'm prone to do with anything. I'll never be a chef or carpenter I guess. Ummmm none of my clones have made it. I've taken 2 or 3 clones from her over the course of the grow. I didn't really know what I was doing at first. I got one of the clones to root, but I went out of town during the grow and all of my babies died. Right now I'm down to 2 bulbs, I've been this way for almost a month now maybe. I live out in Arizona so it's too hot now to run more than 2 bulbs in my cabinet. 55w and a 65w.

hey man, flowering under 120w of cfl isnt a bad thing. high temps will slow your grown down drastically. i live in a really hot state to man so i feel your pain. and without spending money on something its hard to controll temps. this time around i got a 6" 424cfm exhaust fan with a filter. it drops the temp 11 degrees in my area man and its not turned up all the way. not a bad investment for the long run. the nutes i use have a measuring cup built into the bottle, you squeeze the bottle and it fills it up to however much you want then you poor it out. there killer nutes to man. check em out sometime, Canna. i know your wanting this girl to hurry up and die  so even if you can start droping a few ice cubes on the soil before you feed her it will help. ive heard of people doing it on the purple strains when the temps arnt cold enough to get them to change color. it makes the plant think its the first frost coming and will change the color if its in the genetics...anyway, ive never done it but im def going to give it a try here soon...but if you can get the temps to drop man the buds will dense up and she will speed up her life cycle

Thanks stoney! I can't wait to chop her up. I think the hairs would still turn if I just let her cook longer, but at this point I mean I have all the bud I could ever smoke already, so this is just my fun hobby, and I want to chop her down! I'm excited about the DWC plant too I just hope she doesn't show me any balls! With the res in my cab though I am running much higher temps which is no bueno. Hopefully I'll figure this one out before I take off for a few days. Cheers :leaf:!

edit: oh I also am going to put it in darkness for 72 hours I think I read that from your thread. see how it works for me!

I know you cant wait to chop it down.
I had to leave town for a couple days this weekend, so they went without water. Most of the lower fan leaves died.
Im about 34 days into flower now, but my buds dont look like theyll get that big.

Here is a closeup up of the biggest cola of the plant on the right.

This is the one on the left. I definitely thought her colas woulda been bigger by this point, but maybe shes a late bloomer.

Day 34! You're good to go man. Go look at page 13 and I have pics up for day 34 flower, you're right on track man! Give those bad girls another month or two and you'll have buds fatter than mine I bet :leaf: I only veg'd my girl for about 3 weeks :)

I know man, your girl continues to impress me. I couldnt have vegged at 3 weeks, I dont remember what my plants looked like at 3 weeks, but they werent ready. I really think it has to do with the style of LST. You were really aggressive, pulling that bitch 90 degrees at really young age, while I didnt even think about LST til about month in. I LSTd the main stalks twice at about 45 degree angles.
I started with about 75 seeds and here we are with the final 2. It was like American Idol: The Marijauna Chronicles.

I can't speak as to the effectiveness or reasoning behind this recommendation, but sounds like a recipe for mold to me - if you are gonna do this make sure your humidity is quite low.

Yeah man, she was tiny when I started to flower. I was even a bit too aggressive with LST haha, ripping limbs off and such. I learned an infinite amount over this grow though which is the great part. I still can't believe that she was the one and only seed that I had started at first, and she took me all the way to the home stretch! One seed from a bag of dank. Hahah I guess I'm not all bad luck right! I can't wait to see how your girls fatten up.

Well I live in AZ and the humidity is always around 20% or less in my room so hopefully I should be good. I really just needed to take it out of the cab too. Had to make room for a dwc res, my other one fell apart.

Thank ya much. You started with 1 seed!?? wow.
Ive had some folks tell me I might be using a bit too much Nitrogen. If the leaves are extremely green and buds are slow to bloom, they say it could be too much N. Im gonna do a little flush today, and hopefully she'll come back stronger than ever.
