I have 3 26w 6500k CFLs in a rubbermade. This is my first grow. Growing one seed that I found in a bag of some super dank. Hopefully it turns out to be female hah. Just growing for the experience and knowledge. And hopefully free smoke ;) Fox Farm. 24/0 light.

Advice welcomed, especially towards watering schedules at all stages of life, and nutrient suggestions? Cheap?

changed one of the 6500k to 2700k to add variety, see what it does. hopefully i can get a camera other than my phone to take pics with. My box runs hot though wanting to stay up in the 90's and the humidity is staying low. I'm working doing different things to try and fix it.

Also put books under plant to reduce length to light.

Thanks man. Hopefully she turns out. If not I'll get some good training on a male before I get to try again. During the day at peak heat hours I've been putting a small cup filled with ice in to try and keep the temps down. Bad idea?

If you get a male, grow it and save the pollen in your freezer, you might want it down the line...

Good gem of knowledge for future reference, I'm not quite there yet but I'll remember that. The box is just getting too hot though so I'm back down to running 1 CFL until I can get a second intake fan on the box. Plant was just getting too hot and all its leaves were bending up gnarly towards the light. I took off the carbon filter too because at this stage there really isn't any smell, and it was just restricting air flow. Hopefully can get a second fan in tomorrow so I'll be up and running.

I have the box consistant at around 30% humidity and 84 degrees now, that's with one CFL and the carbon filter taken off. So now that I atleast have it under control hopefully this second intake fan will get more circulation in the box, hopefully I'll get one today. I think I read that the intake has to double the exhause for correct air flow?

Damn your setup is dope man. I can't afford all the FF line right now, but hopefully in the future. The bag that I got this seed from was supposedly Sour D too. Hopefully mine will look as sick as yours do now.

I also changed the growbox a little bit inside to keep temperatures down until I can get another fan. Been working decently, still running slightly hot at the expense of running two bulbs. Ill take pics of the changes I made later.

About to head out for the weekend. Made some more changes to the box, I'm sure that will be an on going process. Looking good, a little bit of growth you can see the third node popping out more now. Going to give a good water before I take off for a few days. Will update next week!

how deep is that hook into the soil? i ask for 2 reasons..
1.) too deep and you could damage your roots
2.) not deep enough and it might pop out when the plant starts reaching for the light again.. maybe im wrong though just lookin out for ya

lookin good though bro keep it up man.. you still runnin lights 24/0?? consider giving them a sleeping period? i do 18/6 and the plants love it

I think tonight I'm going to change off of 24/0 to 20/4. I haven't been doing it because the timer I bought isn't three pronged and my surge protector is so basically I've been cheap and lazy hah. Finally got my setup though, the temps are always good now. Changed my exhaust to a 120mm fan and have 2 80mm fans as intake. Can run all 3 bulbs now and stay around 77 degrees.
