Hey guys, I'm sorta back into the business, but I'm kinda sad to see no updates from month and a half, I only hope everything is okay. :/

Yesterday I just poured some boiling water on my Kali Mist. There is purple AKxJack Herer and KM clone flowering. Also PAKxJH clone being srayed with sts for female pollen. also clone of PAKxJH clone flowering as seed carrier.
all of them in flower.
currently in veg there is only one km clone. due to rejuvenating clone it started to mutate in all possible ways and only 1 cutting out of 3 survived. anyway, all is getting better now.
except for the temps which started to get ove 90 over here..

btw, sample was amazing! was ticking my feet for over 5 hour, 1st hour being vwery much intensive, later active uplifting energetic high with a positive touch but without couchlock, thought interrupts and heart racing feeling. When toked double the quantity I usually take, it gave me cartoons when eyes closed
Can't wait for it to properly dry and cure. Will be cutting KM down this saturday, after 96hours of preharvest darkness.
KM clone. like I said it was going crrazy with mutation, alternating shoots popping everywhere, whorled mutation, 2blades per leaf etc. After I pruned like 70% of new shoots, things started to go right again. See pic.

she's getting covered in pistils, will make pics sometime soon
PAKxJH two weeks ago, now it's all covered in budsites. Pics hopefully this week. She's very stretchy, petioles are like 5" long. internodes also. bud stem is robust. should be able to hold the buds she will be packing.

Hey, I'm glad to see that you're around here and continuing Simisimis! You're one of the best new growers I've seen over the network and a great guy.
It's been a touch winter for me ... My monster grow ended up with not much of a success. I was lied about what strains the seeds I had were and I kinda messed up the harvest. One of the monsters was some sort of a wildling which never became potent nor grew any bigger buds than a pop-corn seed. No crystals or anything, but you could get high from smoking a quarter of it. Yeah ... Me and friends tried it.
The biggest monster appeared to be a Sour Diesel, not a Lemon Haze, I'm kinda happy with it, I love the aroma but I'd preferred the effect of a Haze instead. I also failed to harvest it on time, so you need to smoke a decent quality to feel it deeply.
The medium one is what surprised me most of all ... I actually appear to have an unclassified strain, it looks like it's pure Indica in the beginning, when it begins to stretch right after flowering it switches it's structure so rapidly into a Sativa looking one, it's super dense and the high is very intensive, hardcore laughter is the top effect, the potency is actually high, you also get lil'hungry and you could get a bit dizzy, very trippy as well and you literally can't stop laughing for about 2 hours.
The bad part here is that the harvest window appears to be from 40 - 55 day, and I harvested it too late at the 60th day, while I took a sample at the 53rd day and it was much stronger than what I finally harvested, but who could knew all these things ...
I guess for a first time grow with no experience and no knowledge of what I am growing I did fine, the final weight from the monsters was a ridiculously low amount though ... about 100 grams. And I was expecting about twice or triple of that.
I had the idea of making a low cost CFL micro grow, but then ... I dropped it completely and I thought I'd wait for the summer to come to make an outdoor grow this time. I began growing too late into the summer last year to make anything. I have made a several dozen of feminized seeds. I have now the knowledge when I should harvest and I'm going to make a grow journal this time. I plan on planting about 30 plants. See if I can squeeze a kilogram from them. That should be enough for me till the next summer.
Ohh, I also got my hands on some new seeds, they are an Indica dominant, a very heavy night smoke. It feels almost as some kind of a drug. So I'm going to plan some of these too.
I'm really hoping to make a quick grow, like for perhaps 60 - 70 days maximum. Then I could have enough time to make a second harvest!
The unknown apparently Sativa dominant hybrid I got which has super early harvest is what I'm focusing on though. Also the interesting thing is that I've done a very extensive research and tried to find the classification of this strain, but it appears it's sort of unknown in the end ... Only if I knew what I really had! I could possibly sell some of it and buy real deal seeds from a seed bank as well, for the next year. Actually, next year i'm going to the province where I'll have about 200 square meters of free space to grow in a super safe location. I'm hoping to also utilize the full potential of this place.

About that strain that did not yield too much. Cause u called it monster my assumption it was stretchy? Sativa dom plants sometimes have problems flowering under 12/12. Couple of days ago i switched my flower room to 11/13, been reading a lot on the topic and want to try how that works for me.
That super lemon haze knocked me out quite some times, also the high is very intensive, dreamy, a bit stony. Although i chose not to smoke it cause it's too difficult to concentrate with it. Also growing, transporting and storing is a nightmare to me. That smell is ridiculous, its very colourful but goes through every wall or plastic bag..
A question about unknown, how does she smell? Sounds exactly like my c99. Also are leaves light or dark green? The rest fit your description, both about the looks and high)

This Purple AKxJack Herer I posted before, turned out to be a real nice smoke. Went to my top shelf from the first try. I also managed to self her, so genetics were preserved.
Summers pretty much pulling back so I might get a bit more active around here. Currently having Nl#5/Haze 17 into flowering.
NL5H cuttigns. one of them is already rooted.
Kali Mist clone that I'll be selfing. Was spraying one branch with STS and another letting to flower. Thus I have 27" tall plant with two towers, one male and another female. It's 17days as well into and pollen is about to be released.
Also yesterday topped Ace seeds Malawi. Can't wait to see what I will harvest from this trippy beast. Will be leaving 4 tops and taking two cuttings. Burying the stem.
Wonder if there's still any followers around?

Yeah, it is supposed to be 'the shit'... I found a local reseller who sold me one bean. Well I believe that I wasn't lucky on pheno roulette. I was comparing my KM to other KM on internet, they do look alike.. except that mine almost did not stretch.. well it trippled during stretch, but that was pretty much it, whereas from what I've heard and read, KM would stretch at least 5 times+.. also the high wasn't too colourfull, just up energetic pleasant boost, but no bells and whistles, trippy, giggly part is totally missing.. either reseller is not to be trusted or I was just unlucky.. Maybe I'll try again one day, but now a plan is to sprout stuff from the list i posted couple posts before, also nevHaze from FS, and rerun C99 from FS as well, cause the 1st one i ran, was insane, but the second C99 i sprouted was only half the 1st one was.. I still have couple of C99 beans so i hope i will get that special high again. big plans, little space, all as usual..

Not sure about which male to fem you're talking about.. in nature male to fem is quite a rare thing. You need to seriously stress male for it to start forming fem flowers. Another thing, selfing male, and sprouting it's seeds i'm not sure if you would get any females.. fem flowers on males can also be achieved by applying something like giberellic acid(ga3), but then again, why would you need it i'f you cant grow some sinsemilla from it, unless for the breeding purposes to keep some male traits..

Hey sim, how's it going man? Been awhile. The purple akxjh looked like some awesome smoke, I'll have to pick some of those up. Things are getting better for me, a little slower than I was hoping for but, I'll be back at it within a few months if things keep going this way.
I saw your other thread about the plant that went all haywire on you too by the way, sucks. How's that one doing now? Any improvement or going to be hash?
Edit: Just scrolled up and saw the KM....dayum, that's some tastey looking bud there too!

Hey man, nice hearing from you again. Well im having VERY hard time dealing with thrips, i do blame those suckers for most of my problems, but today i ordered some spinosad product, hopefully it'll work.
I'll post some pics from my garden when ill get to pc. in couple days will be collecting KM seeds. She's a keeper. The high a bit too mild to my liking, but I the the harvest, branch structure, there's many thing i like about that plant.
NL5Haze I was having probs with started to pack buds after i created that thread. Ill post pics tmrw, so stay close. Gtg now, cheers

So... pic time!
Malawi being trained with mainlining method for 8 tops. Does not look too good, but soon things are going to change once the thrips will be immobilized.
Malawi clone doing way better. Will top for two tops and make some beans like I did with KM.
Passing genetics of NL5H to a cutting. Will check NL5H smoke, then will see if cutting will also herm like her mother and then, if she'll last that long, final bud forming test. Cause With all the probs I had, I believe she deserves a second chance.
And this is NL5H herself.
Also a pic from seeded KM. Now she's drying and in a day or two will be already picking beans.

Looking good man. Glad the seeds are working out for ya. I'm considering doing one plant, 1.5 week veg then flip. The WWxBB is on my list if I decide to do so. Maybe something from Sweet Seeds. I don't know, I'll pick like four and see what you think.

Well, I've narrowed it down to two. It's between Samsaras Green Love Potion or FS Bubblegummer. I can't decide, they both look so good. Which do you think I should do, sim?

Alright alright alriiight. I'm going with the Bubblegummer. Start germing the bean when I get off work and I'll probably make a new box for this one. Last one was ok but needed a few changes to things I couldn't undo.

Hey Jad, glad you came over. Average.. well I stopped counting grams as they did not prove much.. Only if I see that plant went heavier than it should then out of curiosity was checking how much did I pull. I.e. Kali Mist looked better than usual, weighted and it was 78g. so ~2.7oz
but I'm still learning a lot as I grow and improve in some places, while murphy law kicks in and other problems appear. Like those thrips. Been fighting them since February. Not only they cause loads of leaf problems, but that also stresses, weakens and stuns the plant. So harvest goes down drastically. Or e.g. did not shake my grow food bottle for 2 years and it started to precipitate. I did not realise that for a long time and was trying to figure out why my feeding habits are not legit any more.
But you face those things and you learn. e.g. I used to upcan, top and flip a plant at the same day. Now I upcan and top, but wait as much as I can(1-2weeks) before flipping, cause from the time you switch to flowering, plant stops growing roots and starts working on 3week stretch, so upcanning benefits only watering schedulle, but does not produce bigger yields.
I like 150W lamp, it fits my needs very well, but it's not sufficient, especially for pure sativa plants, therefore I got myself another 70W CMH lamp for a side lighting, Plants like it Like in this pic.
Before I got that, I used to add 2 25W cfl.
And seed collection.. Well I have quite some strains already. Eventually I want to self(or pollinate in regular way) them all so I could have some genetics backup for me and my friends and as you can see in the pic, there's still a long way to go there
