Recent pic of my baby. Right now it is still drinking a lot of water loaded with nutes. I'm checking tric's ever 2-3 days and still mostly clear. Not started flushing yet. Going to flush with molasses water through it next week to start the one week flush process. I'd like to let it get over ripe a tiny bit as would prefer to more indica effect on the weed.
Yummy. Looks like she is getting close.

So end of week 9 flower and we are flushing with 1tsp per gallon molasses and nothing else. Did 5-6 gallons through her yesterday. Will do the same tomorrow or next day then let her dry out and chop.

Been a great plant to grow. Going to re veg for future clones in case she is a great smoke too.

Pic.

more pics. checked trich's yesterday. Some clear some cloudy and some amber. I think chop at the end of the flush week should be perfect. Will end up being a 10 week flower.

close to flush time. Have been steadily trimming off the fan leaves bit by bit this week as they have begun to look tired and unhealthy. Should allow the form of the plant to show through a little more.

Looking to chop just before lights on in 2 days once she is all dried out from her plain water flush last night. I was too lazy to take the plant out of the tent so I just flushed into the spill tray and emptied it by hand without moving the plant. Got about 1 Liter of runoff out of the tray. Not a very thorough flush but in my defence it is coco which seems to need less flushing time.

Pulled a whole bunch more fan leaves off the MD tonight. In some places the bigger fan leaves get stuck in the buds, wither and die. The stem of the leaf remains alive and attatched to the stalk. I can see now why this plant is vulnerable to bud rot in late flower. Have to be vigilant about pulling those dead and dying fan leaves out of the buds. Not too early, not too late.

Have now trimmed about 60% of fan leaves off the plant leaving the rest for tomorrows scheduled chop. Just before lights on. Lots to do tomorrow. Will try and take pre and post chop pics for the fun part!

ill tell ya ima first time grower and you look like ur doin better than me. I cant get my buds very big i admit im on a budget but still keep it up lookin good

It is finally over. My least fave part of growing. The chop, trim and hang. I tend to trim as thoroughly as I can stand to before hanging so I don't have to spend another day trimmed after dry.

Trimmed from the top down cos I want to reveg this plant. Took each branch individually and trimmed it roughly chopping in 2 halves if it got a bit too long and unwieldy.

Hung trimmed buds on branches from a lower level in my wardrobe and put individual buds not on a branch on some mesh screen above the hanging branches. Then I put a bowl of water on the floor to increase humidity to 50-60% range then I put my RH and temp gauges on the floor of the wardrobe near the hanging buds and then closed the wardrobe door.

Before closing the door I turned the wardrobe to face away from all ambient light in the room then wedged a towel in the top of the wardrobe door to make it stay ajar.

Finally I put my small oscillating fan outside the ajar wardrobe door and set it to rotate on low speed so the inside of the wardrobe will get some but hopefully not too much gentle airflow.

Pics are being a pain today. More later.

Plant Moby Dick from Dinafem. Grown 12/12 from seed under CFL's- lots of them. Secret Jardain Darkstreet 2x2x5 tent. Grown in coco mainly.

Final dry weight 93g of bud + 20g of high quality bud trim including quite a few buds with slight mold + 85g of medium quality late flower trim.

Had to cut a few moldy buds off as I blew it on the dry. Hope I can rescue it on the cure. Buds are showing only 30-35% humidity in the jars at the moment. Kinda crispy on the outside and very frosty. Still a bit harsh to smoke but can tell it will be a good smoke once I get the cure right.

Hope this does not end up going in the hash bin. Learned a valuable lesson for drying. Air circulation is very important. Will see how the weed ends up after cure.

Not 6 ounces. 93g is 3.28 ounces. The rest is trim for hash. I grew one plant
Wow I've been so spacey lately my bad. I saw 5 beans at the beginning of the thread and I was pretty sure it was 1 plant then I was like no shit maybe 5 plants, my bad man. Then I added both of those numbers together and that's how I got 6 zips my bad. Yes 3.28 ounces that is deff nothing to complain about!

Not sure how to post a strain/smoke reportbut I'll post something here in the meantime..

The MD is all gone now. It was funny how it got stronger with the cure. If I'd not blown the dry it could have been killer. Not bad in any case.
Prone to mold caused by dying/dead fan leaves getting stuck inside the large buds. Make sure to trim dying leaves and it could be a monster yield.
