She's already on 2/3 strength nutes as I gave her 2ml per L. I was thinking of upping her again as she looks liked she wanted more but she doesn't. Res was getting concentrated pH going down and nutes was beginning to rise so I added more water to the res.

The ppms is at 460 now after added a few more liters and she looks much better. pH back in 5.8 range and I think that's where she wants to be for now. Will keep her there till flush tomorrow and may cut back on B1 Boost so I can give her full strength base. Fingers crossed bro!!! Peace

Ah sweet man, I just read it wrong she's doing well then!

With the drop in pH, is the ppm's going up as well? It may be that she's really sucking up the water. Mine used to do the same (never dropped to high 4's though) and when i checked ppms it seemed to go up. I just added more fresh water

Its all good Eastcoast. Yea ppms went up as well but water level had been the same as it was went I first set the res. I added water yesterday as I had noticed it had went went down but it was in low 5s. I checked this morning it was high 4s. She had been eating fine and drinking fine so that's why it was weird to me but I think I found out what the problem was. The perlite was dry and felt salty so I think I need to water more with my temps being so high. Ughh man this summer sucks lol.

Yeah man sounds like she drank up the freshwater cos she was thirsty! Not a bad thing, just means you need to add more water...there are worse things that could happen
First thing i look at is ppms when the pH drops. I try and keep mine at the same ppms the whole week. In summer temps they will always look for more water than nutes by the end of the week

UPDATE

Ok I couldn't bare trying to keep the res pH stable with adding ph+ and the pH dropping so fast so much so I gave her a good flush. I don't want to have to use up as I'm already using down to set the pH. I didn't check the run off which I should have but I did check it to see that she was flushed good. My water is very clean 40ppms kinda close to R/O water but high pH 8.0 (chlorine and chloramine) so when run off came out at 50ppms I knew she was flushed good.

I let her sit for a couple hours and absorb the pHed water while I added nutes to the res. Upped her base to 75% and added full strength Silica (was 50%) as I wanted to see if that would keep the pH buffered up more from it going down. Prolly shouldn't have done that as I think there was a salt build up from not being watered enough but oh well its done and in a couple hours I'll know if I really shouldn't have. B1 Boost still at half strength its very strong and Dr Repair full strength. I'm watching her now as she just fed. I hope she handles the up in feed or I'm gonna have to added some water to res. Luckily I have a 60L res just in case I over feed. WIll have pix up soon.

You prolly are right Eastcoast. With these temps like this I wouldn't surprise it. Ppms had been constant all week until last night when I checked pH and it was low. So you are right she got more thirsty by end of the week but I also think I wasn't watering enough too with these temps. Its all good now flushed and new nutes so she should be aokay lol.

Good stuff dude, the silica will keep the pH high. I ended up only using 1/3 strength silica my whole grow. The pH after adding would be 6.4 so i never added pH down and the pH dropped to 5.9 about 2 days after and only got down to 5.5 i think. Try not to add too much up and down hey, that stuff can build salts pretty quickly too

yea I realized that it does buffer the pH high so that why I added more but forgot that perlite was dry and wasn't watered enough.
also didn't realize that with temps she would get more thirsty towards end of the week but I'm learning with this system and I'll get these temps under control soon. I only use down as my pH of water is high so after mixing nutes pH is 6.8 so I have to use down but I use a very very diluted amount you can see through it. I don't use it right out the bottle and yes that why I only wanna use down cus I don't want my system outta whack. Everything is going very smooth and I'm tickled pink couldn't be any happier. I'm glad your here bro I need your knowledge combined with mines I think I can make this happen!!!

Yea I'm trying bro. It was so much easier when I was growing with soil now I'm having to be on top of things a lil more which I like. I'm looking forward to seeing her flower too bro !!!!

UPDATE DAY 7 END OF WEEK 1

Well I can say the day early flush and fresh nutes did her some good. I swear this girl can eat!!! She handled the up in base food and Silica. Ppms went down so next week will try her with full strength and she gets her XL treatment which will make her explode with growth!!! I'm soooo damn happy that everything is going like it should and I'm just siting back enjoying the ride watching her grow. I covered her up so no more algae will grow in perlite and I'm happy that its in the 70s and 80s this week .

Yesterday's Feed
Grow A + B 2.25ml p/L to 30L
B1 Boost 1ml
Dr Repair 1ml
Silica 1ml

Looking real nice man, she has taken to the extra nutes well i feel an explosion of growth coming!! Nice one!

Thanks Eastcoast she is looking pretty good. She really did take to the notes well and I'm very happy I didn't have to do more work adding water She's already exploding she has new nodes every couple days which I like. Very close which means for some nice big buds XL next week and we really gonna see her explode!!!!

read the pe grow log and well it suckin fucks when every thing goes bass akwards . never seen a hempy of any sort without vermiculite (sp) was wandering if you have ever done straight hempy ? seems a lot easier without the headaches . good luck .

didn't feed for 3 days and they looked awesome last night and this morning looked like they haven't had a drink in months ! scared me but i watered them and they come right back after a couple of hours !

Going to change my watering now don't need the ladys getting stressed out in flower this is when they start to put there weight on i was feeding every 3 - 4 days but might just change it to every 2 days now they are in flower gave them a good flush today as well because of canna gives me a lot of salt build up!

anyway bro keep em green looking forward to some more photos !

I don't mind telling people at all I just don't want people trying to do stuff for me gifts and all. If you wanna do something for me do something for my kids.

Yea I've went through that plenty of times when I was hand watering too. I always say if you don't see leaves dead and crispy then it's not dead. Since your in flower stage your gonna have to water more cus they drink more. Do you feed everytime you water? If you do try watering them just enough to last for one day and water them every day. They will get what they need but also keep them thirsty and wanting more. Pix will be up today
