1000w One Plant Blue Dream

Wassup to all my RIU friends. Back again to start a new journal. I know some of you are thinking didn't he do a journal like this and didn't finish it? Well yes I did but I had a lot of stuff going on in my life and it got unbearable so I couldn't finish but I'll mos def finish this log. I really need to finish a log as I don't write anything down so this will help me a reference back to stuff I'm doing with the grow.

I'm still gonna run a one plant recirculating hempy hydro grow copying one of the great growers here named Flowamaster which I'm sure a lot of you know about. I had some major problems with the totes I used as pots. There was no space inside between the two totes so it caused a massive build up in the medium which in turn caused a lockout and also created mad pH swing in the res. Well I've found the perfect pots to use this round and I'm sure everything will be just fine. Will post some pix of the lady in the setup in a lil bit.

damn, that's a lot of light for just one plant, but the bluedream is a plant that likes her light, but honestly, maybe grow, I don't know, four bluedreams under that light? Yield more...

Yea I know it is. The light was gifted to me so that's all I have to use. The grower who's hydro system I'm copying uses a 600 and gets a lb or more so I wanted to try his system with this 1000w I got to see what kinda yields I would get. I could run 4 of them under this light but I would have to get more equipment to run the system and I only had one fem seed so I would have to take clones what till they root and I just don't wanna wait for that. If this doesn't work which I'm sure it will as I truly everything right this time I'll run more plants.

Thanks dirtynerd glad to have you. I think everyone will enjoy this one as I have figured out what my problems were the last grow. the girl is already doing very well and I couldn't be any happier. Peace

Op thanks bro shes is a beauty. I had a mishap about a week ago and broke off a top of a main cola. oh well she has two tops now on that main so it really doesn't matter. she was gonna get topped on the mains futher down the line anyways so I already took care of the pix coming up in a bit

That's cool that you aren't a post-Nazi like that. For the record, i'm a believer, just scrog that lady nicely and fill the light canopy, and you can do GREAT, I've been growing the clone only Bluedream for years now, and if yours is similar, it'll almost triple when triggered 12/12, keep that in mind, and if you get a nice cool running ballast, you can get her nice and close and the 1000w will fatten her up like mad, just veg her nice and long and scrog her real well, that's what i'd do anyways

UPDATE DAY 4 WEEK 1 VEG

ok here's the first update of veg. I started this girl from seed she is a fem. I started her already 4 weeks ago in a small hempy pot. I didn't have any base nutes yet so she got a light feeding of Cyco's B1 Boost and Dr Repair. I can sure say both of those products is damn strong and good for adds. they kept her alive till I got base nutes.

I'm mos def hating this summer as its fuckin with my temps like crazy. I have to go get a new fan soon I haven't had the time but temps are in high 70s low 80s during day but sometimes when its very hot and it gets to a certain part of the day the sun is beaming directly on in my windows and the front of the house temps have gotten to high 80s. But once the sun goes down temp go back down. I can say with these temps mimicking summer its bringing the haze smell out of her with the blueberry undertone.

I'm digging this so far everything is going good. pH is stable and she's handling the ppms at 550. to me its looking like she wants a lil more so after next flush I'll up the to 75% strength base and she hows she handles that. running half strength B1 Boost full strength Dr Repair half strength Silica.

Grow A + B 2ml to 30L
B1 Boost 1ml
Dr Repair 1ml
Silica .5ml

sorry about the algae on the perlite should've covered it gonna so that soon

Hell yea DirtyNerd lol. Nothing like putting your mack down and training a female right She's responded very well to being topped and tied down. I'm really excited about where she's at. She's growing everyday and it won't be long before I hit her with the XL to make her go into beast mode lol.

Flush coming Sunday followed with a fresh feed. Soon as I have the time will be going to get a couple more fans to combat this temp problem. It's not that bad just need them for certain duration of the day. Luckily it won't be so hot the rest of the week. Can't wait till summer is over!!!

Yeah im thinking of trying Cyco next run seems like good shit about to run out of all my Canna i was reading over Floawmasta's grows it makes me want to use cyco that mofo can grow how you finding the 100% perlite how offend are you watering...?

Do it give them a try. They are good quality nutes and I'll prolly stick with them for a long time unless I grow some plants with dirt then I'll go with some organic liquid nutes. Canna has some great organic nutes and so does Roots. Some people like Fox Farm but a lot tend to why away from them with the nutes but hey make great soil tho.

Yea man I've read a lot up on his grows too. He def made me wanna try hydro as I've always been a soil grower. His system was so easy to replicate and I saw his results so I said why not try it. Get my skills up lol.

The 100% perlite is amazing man. Just like he states it's something about the perlite this plant loves. It's so good I germ my beans in a cup of it. 100% germ rates. Drop the seed in it and watch it sprout. This Blue Dream was done the same way. Was cracked and broke through the perlite in a day. Will always germ my beans like this now. Even in soil I pretty much did the same thing never had problems unless they were bad beans. With the temps all funny I'm watering every 2 1/2 hours for 15 mins. I may bump it back up to 3 hours to she how she does. If she perks up some more I'll leave it there. If she looks thirsty I'll go back but she likes it where it's at so I may jus leave it there

Yeah just test things out and see how she goes i don't know my timers seem to keep stuffing up so i am scared to do perlite just in case i need to go away for work a lot and i use a 50/50 coco and perlite that way i only need to water every 3-4 days but i really want to try the perlite as the growth rate seems to get insane

would love to grow some monsters outdoors but don't have the room one day if i ever move out to a farm would love to put some in the ground and let them reach there full potential

Think ill try the 100% perlite next run i just want to find out why my timers keep stuffing up i want to order some blue dream its ment to be awesome smoke

Yea I'm tryna get her dialed in as good as possible. What kinda timers you using the one I got from my hydro store is their brand but works great haven't had problems get you one with the 15 min pins for feed. I have a cheap Walmart 30 min pin timer for the ballast

The coco/perlite mix is good for hand watering. Gonna use that mix for when I run my packs of strains I got. Then when I find my keeper I go back to my one plant. I'll prolly start doing two plant sine I use a 60L res. Should be a nice grow. This HSO Blue Dream has great reviews. It won Attitudes best strain contest and member I know on here grows it very very well. If you can't get clone only seeds the way to go!!! Peace

Fasho bro I could never be like that. Was raised right and I'm just too cool and laid for that lol. I'm glad your a believer cus I am too even tho I couldn't finish the first test grow cus of problems.

I def plan on scrogging her even tho I've never done a scrog. I hope mines does have that stretch cus I need this girl to stretch with the space I got. My ballast isn't in the closet with the girl so I don't have to worry about that and my hood is air cooled so they will get close enough to get fat and swell. I shouldn't have to get her too long as I already started her before I put her in the system. The max veg in this system will be six weeks but I really don't wanna go that long cus I've got some bean I wanna pop so I can find a keeper and grow that for a while. Peace

Wassup bro it's all good man long as your here. Thanks Eastcoast yea this lady is mos def looking better than the last one. I'm really excited this time as I think I'll accomplish what I'm trying to do.

She's already on 2/3 strength nutes as I gave her 2ml per L. I was thinking of upping her again as she looks liked she wanted more but she doesn't. Res was getting concentrated pH going down and nutes was beginning to rise so I added more water to the res.

The ppms is at 460 now after added a few more liters and she looks much better. pH back in 5.8 range and I think that's where she wants to be for now. Will keep her there till flush tomorrow and may cut back on B1 Boost so I can give her full strength base. Fingers crossed bro!!! Peace

Ok just checked the res pH like I do every morning I get up and pH is still declining. It was in the high 4s. I added water yesterday and brought the pH back up in range and now it's back down. Anybody know what could be causing this??? It's wierd cus pH has been very stable so far

I may do an early flush as I planned to flush tomorrow anyways but I just wanna figure out what's causing this. I'm not freaking out as she looks very good and has grew since yesterday just tryna problem solve. If I do flush I'll put up a couple pix before flush and then after flush.
